I just hope that two of the three variations are masked lol I think they look so much cooler with their helmets on than without.

The real question is what variation will be used the most.

I'm super excited, even though I'm a "guest characters don't belong" type of guy, the inclusion of Predator in this has me all giddy.

But regarding Hish-qu-ten - if I read the wiki correctly, is that not what the Predator race is officially called in the new Dark Horse canon, rather than yautja? It seems more like a retcon than a different species, but I may be wrong - haven't kept up much on the Dark Horse Predator series since their treatment of the license is absolutely fucking awful.



I'm hoping each variation sports a different mask, or maybe tribal markings/decoration. In any case...really looking forward to this.

I think the assessment is correct - warrior will likely be the "Aggressive" variation, probably with spear and other weapons. Hunter will be stealthy, an escape/chip damage type variation. Hish will probably be a bit more balanced - maybe hand-to-hand emphasis.

I totally agree with you. I wasn't wild about kratos, and absolutely hated Freddy and a lesser extent Jason. But they finally got it right with the guest character! He fits in mk perfectly, a superior alien species that are master hunters and warriors? It will be a flawless victory for sure. The original Predator movie is my favorite movie ever, I remember the first time I saw it! I wasn't born til 5 years after it came out but I saw it when I was 7, the part where Billy stays on the bridge to fight the predator, that part scared the shit out of me when I was little ! The look on dudes face when He was cutting himself with the machete

Hell yes...Predator is my all-time favorite movie as well.

And as for Billy - not having Nightwolf in the game so that they could have a Billy skin is a huge missed opportunity.

Warrior - Maskless variation - aggressive hand-to-hand combat

Hish-qu-ten - Masked variation - Shoulder cannon - probably a variety of ranged attacks.
