Not sure, but I hope so! To be completely honest, I've been trying to find info on this game for like two months, and without an official announcement, I am becoming quite skeptical that it is coming out next week. I mean what POSSIBLE reason could WB have to not announce a game before its release. I can't think of one. WB I think made a pretty big mistep with the handling of this game/rumor because if it comes out, I'm going to be a little annoyed that they didn't just announce it and let us know. And if it doesn't come out, I'm going to be upset that they didn't just come out and say that the box art was a fake and the listings online were some kind of residual from a planned remake that was scrapped.
I have a pretty good feeling that absolutely nothing is going to happen on November 16th, but I guess we'll see in just under a week.

I just saw the picture as well... it could be a fake with the "Warner Bros" comment added to make it seem more like a "leak". But either way, it's a realistic expectation of what the upgraded backgrounds could look like in HD.
While the Scorpion/Shao Kahn mock up of Kahn's Arena looked good, it seemed like it was a dramatic departure... and don't get me started on the Kitana mirror match photo of The Armory (or what I think is supposed to be the armory, at least). This looks like a subtle "HD jump".
Now, if it's real, we'd have to wait and see. I hope if nothing else, we at least get some sort of word from WB Games a week from now.
