Jonathan Davis of KoRn has been creating a game called "Pop Scars" that is a Mortal Kombat Style game but with celebrities such as Marilyn Manson, Members of KoRn, Fred Durst and others. Since then Jonathan Davis stopped production on this game, this would be a great opertunity for someone like Midway to pick this up and turn it into a Mortal Kombat VS Celerities type game or to just finish it out as Pop Scars. Would be interesting non the less...Id buy it.

That and the idea behind the game is completely fucking stupid. Anything with Fred Durst in it is immediate and extreme fail.

Not exactly if you think you can beat the shit out of Durst with Davis who actually has talents. Besides, wether it is Davis or a douche, anyone is nothing short of deserving a medal for beating the shit out of Durst.

Think about this.

Eh, but you'd have to play a crappy game to do it. So it still fails.

Since this game didn't get finished and more importantly since you didn't play it, you have no idea it would be a sucky game.

An MK styled fighting game made by Jonathan Davis (whom I honestly don't like either) featuring nu-metal rejects and other celebrities? That alone pretty much sets it up for disaster. Throwing the MK Team and MK in general into it for a Vs. style game is pretty much a sure fire way to doom it. Would you really want to play a fighting game where Marilyn Manson is a top tier fighter because he has three easy to perform infinites?

I'm sorry, no part of any of that sounds like it would ever be successful - or fun.

Vs. games are a bad idea in general anyway unless there is serious thought put into it. The only game that should even be considered for a combination fighting game with MK like that should be the Killer Instinct series.
