Cyrax. Always preferred him and the storylines he had. The idea of a human converted to a cyborg that loses all its humanity only to gain it back again always gained my interest. Sektor was just evil. If he had any development, it wasn't that great.

Definietly Sektor though I prefer Cyrax. Mainly for the reasons the op posted. We definietly need more villains.

Cyrax should just be story mode exclusive, we have enough playable heroes. Sektor and his Tekunin would be much better story wise.

Sektor. His play style fits me more than Cyrax ever does.

Sektor all day. In terms of the story he's more important than Cyrax, Sub Zero is apparently grand master now (as the comics suggest variations may reflect the story). I want to see this happen, not some quick explanation of what happened off screen. I know he technically has no personality now but I'd like to see the guy get more developed. He's an interesting villain to me that we don't see enough of. He's not evil for the sake of being evil, I doubt he even enjoys causing pain or misery. Ya SubZero is the golden child who changed it all blah blah blah but keep in mind Sektor is the son of the grand master, this is all he knows and want's to honor the Lin Kuei in the way he believes is right. If this is some sort Game of Thrones esq MK, Sektor would make a great proper/classy villain.

In between Sub and Smoke, I don't see any need for another sympathetic Lin Kuei member. That and I can't stand the Cyrax/ Kenshi Special Forces thing. I know I'm a broken record on here but it reeks of G.I. Joe. If he's gonna be reprogrammed have the Red or Black dragon do it. Redesigning him drastically to fit said faction goes without saying. I may have been more open minded to the Special Forces thing if they redesigned him to look like he actually belonged there.

With variations I really don't think game play matters for which one makes the cut. Bomb Variation, Rocket Variation ect...
