First of all I would like to say that I know full well how "who would you like to see return" threads have been done to death at this point but after the heavy focus on klassic characters in MK9, there are just some characters that we all want to see a return from so who are some of yours?
For me shinnok, fujin, Tanya, frost and reiko are musts. I wouldn't mind seeing bo ri cho as well. It's funny how there's tonnes of choice with MKDA/MKD but MK4 chars seem to be more popular. I think Drahmin and Moloch would make a great sub-boss pairing as they are cool but we don't really need their story.
Also I've been thinking how sad it is to see hero characters come and go like shujinko and taven who just get put aside after their 15 minutes if fame. At least lui kang got a refresh when he became a zombie.
Anyways I see it this way; shujinkos story sets out a very clear timeline and since he overlaps with taven in Armageddon, a whole series of events could be plotted using both stories. This is why I would like to see a game set in a very specific period during that timeframe which also utilises shujinko and brings taven and daegon back in to focus since I like them so much.
