Hey guys. I thought about this for a while, but never bothered voicing it. But would anyone else like to see a Mortal Kombat game set in a different timeline?

For example, have an MK game that happened 500 years ago, where the Great Kung Lao fought Shang Tsung, or one where he was killed by Goro, or even that whole timeline. Have a bunch of new characters and a more fleshed out, detailed backstory to the events that took place.

Or as an alternative, have a game based in the future, where a new generation of warriors have to fight Outworld forces to prevent Shao Kahn's invasion?

I mean, I know that their track record for making new characters has been pretty poor as of the past few games, but still, I'd certainly like to see one of these ideas come to fruition.
