Other Earth-based stages

Now that we've got that military base, do you think there should be more Earth-based stages? If so, what would you suggest as new stages?

I'd like a MMA-like underground arena where the kombatants fight in a ring with barbed wire ropes inside a cage, and the ability to knock the opponents in the ropes which would cause extra damage, as well as the grid, or uppercut them in the celling.

A new take on the bank stage.

A construction site. The fight could take place on a wide enough balance beam.

I guess I would like a carnival like stage with a stage fatality with the opponent getting hit by a roller coaster.grin

Honestly, I'd love to see an abandoned Shang Tsung's Island stage 25 years into the future. After MK1, it felt like it was pretty much forgotten. His throne room, the garden, or the courtyard with structures decaying and weeds/ivy overtaking the estate.

I have no idea how the hell they'd make it fit into the story, but I'd love to see it. The ravages of time on a place forgotten...

I really like this idea.

I suppose a cool stage to revisit would be the graveyard, to see Earthrealm's fallen heroes. IDK though now that Kung Lao was announced.

I predict that the Stages name will be Outworld Outpost

I don't see this game taking place on Earth at all. I bet Outworld has Theme parks so there is still hope for the Rollercoaster Stage Fatality

An abandon Warehouse stage with multi levels. And a stage fatality stage.

Stage Fatality:
-If on upper level, the player knocks opponent on to a conveyor belt below. As the opponent opens their eyes a huge piston is seen coming down and crushing their head as their body twitches and falls off the conveyor belt!
The Mk3 version of the Bell Tower.... If that's on Earth

The name of the stage could be Kombat Hospital.

I like your idea. I can imagine an empty courtyard, and Tsung's palace overrun with vegetation and the furniture decaying.


I mentioned the bank in my OP, and I was thinking it could be abandoned and in ruin, with broken windows.
