Alright so everyone knows that Boon has repeatedly mentioned an online game that "everyone would be a part of", and that doing well would give players certain bonuses and stuff which wouldn't harm them of they didn't do well, but they would certainly want to do well.

Now, it might be hard to do in a fighting game, but am I the only one who wants online unlocks and stuff restricted to online play? Not that certain costumes would be unlocked for only online gameplay but more along the lines of people who do not play online can still unlock every character, costume etc. without playing online? I'm sure people without smartphones or in countries where WBID doesn't work felt cheated that they couldn't unlock Arkham Harley or Prison Superman, and I'd hate if people without internet would be locked out of unlocking certain costumes and such for versus mode, just because they can't play online. It's a little cheap and I think it ruins the experience for a lot of offline people. I'd rather they keep online unlocks to character avatars or something where they unlock King of The Hill Avatar items or something, as opposed to 2 player mode, and if so, then allow the unlocks to be done in versus or arcade mode.

Who feels the same way? Is there any reason to limit these unlocks to online mode? People can still boost online so it's not like they're preventing that in 2 player mode.
