The trilogy Era was amazing, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Being a Sub-zero fan im glad he will always be included and i always hope itll be Kuai, but i do hope they keep trying to add more. I know it might come off, as self entitled, but It seems like from what i have seen of the story. why is kung lao, kitana, and kang in it?

I would rather NRs build the story and wherever the story goes those characters are in the game.Story mode showed Rain and Tanya playing an actual role and fighting, and imo because of that shouldve been on the roster day 1

I sorta agree. I think characters like Li Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Reiko and one or two others would have been suited to this Outworld story quite nicely.

And honestly, despite their huge fan base, characters like Sonya and Lui Kang, and the Black Dragon, etc etc are still incredibly boring, even after the reboot. Yes they're staples of the franchise, but they're dull.
