Drahmin: It's interesting that you brought him back. I can't wait to see what you do with him.

Dairou: I'm surprised (and pleased) that you brought him back. I kind of like Dairou, and I sort of see some potential for him. I think that you went in a good direction by having him abandon Seido and going to Outworld since there is probably nothing else for him in Seido. Your story for him sounds intriguing, and I wonder what other developments you have in store for him.

I just caught wind of this story and an understatement would be to say it's fantastic.

Each place you take each character is superb and falls, at least loosly, into where I could expect to be slapped in the face with another bombshell of a surprise. Excellent. Each bio and little peice of information reminds me more and more of how it was back between the first few MK's.

I think it's great the way you make me care about a character like Dairou or Drahmin. Characters I had no regard for even playing with after reading thier bios in the actuall game. It makes me think it may be worth playing with them finally. And, I also enjoy how you tied them into the main plott of the story, not just by invovling them in the tournament, but through other characters. That was emaculate. Something I think lacks with the majority of our newest characters.

Ermac, one of my favorite characters, I love it. I always thought he should be the protector of some pupose bigger than just Shao Kahn. I'm also caught up in the whole "We are Ermac" thing. I love that. A voice that speaks that way needs more power.

The new characters you brought in are needed greatly and are greatly incorporated here. New Shaolin Monk pupils, new Red and Black Dragon characters, new bad guys, the works. The way you're writing them in is the way to get new favorites. Time and time again, I've seen a new favorite come from a strong relation to the predessesor. This is right.

I must admit though, I am wodering what happened to more of our "old" leaders. Did they go out in a blaze of glory? Did they simply age out like Kung Lao is doing? I'm wondering how you dismiss the prominent good and bad guys while introducing this new means of bringing fighters, new and old, back together for a tournament. Another question that rings in my head as well while reading this is: Will you exploit the past "gods" or elder gods. (Fujin, Raiden, any of the assumed dead Gods Fire, Water, Earth? Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Shinnok?) Replace them with? I'd like to see some things happen with them too.

All and all...I love what you're doing, and please keep it coming. Wonderful job man.

Tanya: Well, although I hate Tanya, at least you do something much different with her unlike the MK team, in which they make her a "female Kano". I will say that uh..lol..I get some weird vibes with some of the words you put for her bio...I'll just leave it at that.

Jade: Well, this is something different as well, and I understand that you want to take her out of the whole "Kitana's sidekick" thing as well as prevent her from being the next Kitana. Her story sounds somewhat Samurai Jack-ish with her trying to find a way home. I hope you can try to have her interact with quite a few of the characters. I'm sure you'll do that anyway.

Man... did you have to go with the "Tanya makes Jade her slave" storyline? I mean... it's not because I hate Tanya... (well okay, partially that) but... it's just in my MK8 (which continues the current-gen storyline rather than ending it, see my "Darkest Hour" thread for more details) storyline... I had an idea that well... did involve some characters being made into slaves.. but now I fear that... if I went ahead and stuck that in there, people would think that I took it from you...

Sorry for being overdue, but here are some more reviews:

Nitara: Glad you brought her back. Definitely a fav from MKDA, she has quite the potential. It's a pretty decent bio overall and reveals her overall objectives.

Jackal: Ah yes, I remember him from your old story all right. I like the concept of this character and just how crazy and psychotic he is. I'm not quite sure how I see elements of the Joker in him although perhaps maybe some semblance of the Jack Nicholson version of the Joker.

Hotaru: I'm quite surprised you brought him back. I wonder if you're still going to do what you did with your previous story with him.

Selene Cage: lol...this is even more surprising...Just how old is Selene supposed to be anyway? She sounds like she'll be quite the troublemaker and thus needs a boppin'! ^_^

Havik: Ah, Havik. Gotta love 'im. I'm surprised you didn't have him want that special power so that he could ensure everlasting chaos. I mean, I know there's the Thanatos and all, but still...Even so, good bio.

Baldrik: He sounds like more of a neutral character to me. Does he want the Shokan to conquer others? If so, I can understand the evil alignment you gave him. Btw, in what language is Baldrik's name derived from?

Fujin: It's good to have him back and to see how he fairs as Earthrealm's protector god and all. How exactly did Raiden die? Is it simply due to him and Shinnok destroying each other simultaneously or are you planning on something for the future?

Sub-Zero: I'm surprised you didn't originally consider to put Sub-Zero in, but I'm glad that you did. I think you gave him kind of an interesting story, but I hope that you can do even more with him.

Morgana: Hmm, interesting. Is this character partially inspired by that martial arts sorceress concept from MKDA? It's cool that you have Quan Chi influencing her and all. I look forward to seeing what you will do with her.

Scarack: He definitely sounds like a complex and mysterious person. I hope you can sort of delve into him some more. He vaguely reminds me of the Beyonder. When you say he's sort of the sub-boss but in the MK2 Shang Tsung way, are you trying to say that there's someone after him and before the Thanatos or is it simply Scarack followed by the Thanatos?

Will Thanatos have his own bio? Are there any more characters who plan doing?
