Ah....a new MK story from XiahouDun84. With the way things have been for me, it's good to see something that cheers me up a bit. Thanks man.

Anyway, the title is kind of interesting. I'm sure there's more than one significance to it, too. The main story itself is a bit strange, but I do like the various things you put such as Nyx playing a role in many key events throughout time and throughout the realms. I'm glad you didn't sum it up in one big blog. It's better that you break it down like you did.

Now, onto the bios...

Sub-Zero: Sub-Zero's ending in MK: Rebirth left me intrigued, and I knew you'd obviously get to revealing the connection between Nyx and the Cryomancers. When reading the summary of MK: Korruption's story, I had a feeling that Sub-Zero would be a potential candidate to become Nyx's Champion. It seems as if you're making Sub-Zero one of the main protagonists in this story, which is something I like since he's my favorite character and that he's never really been one of the main protagonists. I can't wait to see what you do with him as well as his ancestors' connection to Nyx.

Jade: Her bio is kind of interesting. I guess exploring the relationship between Jade and Mileena wouldn't hurt. It would expand on Jade's overall story, which is definitely needed and something I hope John Vogel and the other storywriters will do in the not-too-distant future. Overall, I can't say too much on Jade.

Scarack: I like Scarack quite a bit. As you made him out to be, he's a very mysterious guy, and I like what he's all about. I wonder what you'll come up with in terms of the purpose of the Elder Gods, the One Being, and things like that. I mean, that's getting into some very deep stuff. It's good that you made him a neutral character who is simply in search of answers.

Katrina: Katrina is a unique character. I'm not too sure on the name. I'm not saying it's bad or anything. It's just that I'm not too sure on it. Maybe it'll grow on me. I look forward to seeing what becomes of her.

Amaya Rin: She really kind of is like the younger, female, Japanese version of Liu Kang, isn't she? But still, I see the differences, I suppose. Even so, she is an interesting character who could go in more than direction. What direction you'll take with her, I wonder. It'd be a bit surprising if the title Korruption is partially about her being corrupted (or should I say 'korrupted') by hate and vengeance.

Doremo: Doremo's type of character is familiar, not to MK, but elsewhere. I wonder if you'll sort of do a switch between him and Amaya in which Doremo progresses more to the light side of things while Amaya goes dark.

Anyway, it's a great start, and I look forward to reading more. If only you and ProudNintendoFan were amongst the MK storywriters...

It's interesting that you sort of drew influence from Star Wars into this. It's kind of strange that Quan Chi would want his apprentice to ally herself with one of his top enemies, but I'm sure there is of course more to it than meets the eye.

Daredin (How you say his name, btw?) seems somewhat like Hotaru in that he has a sense of duty. I like him so far as well as Morgana, and I hope to see what you do with them. Good stuff.

Baldrik: Baldrik's story is what I expected, but it makes sense and works for what it is.

Jairus: Yeah, there's not much I can really say on him. I don't see him lasting too long, but maybe you'll do much more with him.
