I don't know why anyone thinks he's dead. Nothing happened to him in the last game that could be deemed as fatal. And even if it did, *sigh* where do bad people go when they die again? For Noob Saibot he would be right back at home. The same with Quan Chi which is why Scorpion is an idiot.

Bi-Han should never return; I always prefer Noob Saibot. Noob could contend with Liu at some point.

I do prefer him as Saibot as well. I would love(and excuse me for derailing the thread here) to have a Mythologies remake but that's never going to happen,sadly.

I actually prefer Bi-Han as Sub, I really wanted to see him back in this game but sadly it was just Kuai Liang again. Don't get me wrong, Kuai is pretty awesome in this game, I just would like to see Bi-Han pick up the mantle for a little while. Him as Noob is okay as well, I just really want to see some chemistry between the brothers if he does appear again. If they just had some generic intro quotes that would be pretty lame, so I hope they're saving him for next game.

if Noob's not coming back for MKX,then it would be pretty awesome to have a Bi-Han skin(based off Bi-Han's appearance prior to his death in MK9),with 2 exclusive intros per character. after all,they already have his VA(Jamieson Price,the game's announcer,also does Ermac's VO in this game) ready for more DLC. It would be non-canon,of course,but it would be a downright awesome skin.

Either way that intro is cool. I would live Noob for mk eleven. This game heavely featured nether realm but I think mk11 should still so it. After all Out world is in every MR game so I wouldn't get sick of neatherrealm. Considering how many characters reside their now lol.
I want something simular to Noob plot from the old time line where he was making his own demon cyber ninja army. There is no noob-smoke Allie nice but he could join the revenants and Emperor Kang and wage war which would really piss off Dark Raiden.

Except the only reason dead warriors were coming back to life was quan chis dark magic/nercromancy. Since he doesn't have a head on his shoulders anymore, all the revenants are trapped in the netherrealm and everyone who dies now wait for it...stays dead!

I'd like to remind you of Scorpion's biography in Deception, since he was also tossed into the Soulnado. We have no idea if Noob managed to escape as well after being tossed.

Not to mention, nowhere does it state that Noob is dead. His fate is still left hanging in the air. No one is right or wrong here, it's pure speculation at best. Also to mention, since this series is clearly retconning things left and right, the Soulnado could possibly not even harm the guy at all. It could have just sent him to a different realm or universe or whatever. If nothing has been stated about Noob's fate, it's up in the air, plain and simple.

Am I the only one who thinks it's more like Kung Lao is taunting Kuai Liang by, firstly, asking him where Bi Han is when he knows that Kuai Liang doesn't know, and secondly, implying that he's dead and hence by "calling out to him from the other side", Kung Lao is basically telling Kuai Liang that he's about to kill him?

I never thought Noob Saibot was dead after being thrown in the Soulnado, merely incapacitated. Who knows where that thing took him. If they do say yes, he was indeed killed by it, I'll take back my words. But for now I just like to believe he's doing something important to his agenda, somewhere....

Always believed Noob Saibot is alive, well "alive". Hell the only person I believe is currently killed off and might stay dead is Shao Kahn. AND even then there is like a million ways for him to come back.

There is only one way to guarentee death in Mortal Kombat and that is to be unpopular. And Noob Saibot isn't unpopular. I can't even find the old MK9 character usage stats board. I think the old MK9 site has been taken down.

Well that ending only turned out to be half true remember? He was carried up to the heavens by the Soulnado but was saved by the Elder Gods.

Had he been taken to the heavens his body would have been torn apart. They never say anything about that destroying him though. For all we know that would have simply bounced his soul right back down to the netherrealm and he would have manifested a new hellish body. He's done it before.

Also, the Soulnado in MK 2011 wasn't going to the heavens. It was going to Outworld for Shoa Kahn to consume. So...nothing would happen to Noob Siabot. He would just be hurled into Outworld if anything. Or perhaps the vortex itself possibly destroyed his body. And if so...same thing as what would happen to Scorpion, or any evil being that has it's mortal body destroyed. Back to the Netherrealm.

It's strange that you think you're correct here. Quan Chi wasn't the soul reason for "resurrection" or reformation in Hell. That's just the function of that realm. It's hell. Bad things go there and take form because it's the afterlife for evil corrupt souls. Quan Chi only gave form to those he wished to control or give power to in order to serve his interests. We have seen many end up there and given form without Quan Chi's helping hand. Quan Chi himself specifically. Or are we just forgetting that he was incinerated in Deception?
