The only ones I want back are...

Kenshi (Good)
Li Mei (Evil)
Raiden (Evil)
Bo' Rai Cho (Good, as new protector of Earthrealm)
Sareena (Good)
Scorpion (Good, as Elder Gods' Champion)
Sub-Zero (Good)

But they shouldn't all be in MK8. They could be split up. Everyone else must be new though.

I dont think there should be any good/evil characters. There should be characters leaning toward good and characters very much evil, but they should all be unique and in the tournament for different reasons...

When your forced to allign characters good or evil it limits their personality...
