i'm really scared about this "mass omicides" of roster and "new characters" for next gen.....
if the next gen new characters will be like the new characters in deadly alliance and deception, i'm really scared....
well, there are good new characters like Hotaru,Havik and someone else....but characters like Darrius,Dairou,Kobra,Kira,Shujinko,Mokap,Bo Rai Cho,Mavado,Kenshi etc, are not good like the old characters.....imho they are nice lesser than 1/3 of old characters....can you compare a character like Kobra (that seems only a stupid karate kid) to great characters like Baraka,Reptile,Ermac,Rain etc? imho no....
plus, in this armageddon we have 62 chars....old+DA/D new chars.......in these many years of MK Saga, Midway invented these 62 different chars (plus someone is missing like khameleon,tremor and other small chars)......what can they invent in the next gen?
we have seen various male and female ninjas with different powers, cyborgs, shokans, a centaur, various gods/sorcerors, a reptile and chameleons, undead, vampire,black dragons members,special forcers members, monsters, martial artists, demons, psychic powers users,a cop etc....and also a motion capture boy
what can they invent? a sea monster? a six arms centaur? an insect monster? a wrestler?
what? imho if they invent new chars, they will be chars like Kobra,Kira,Mavado,Dairou.....not shits but not really good....
also i think that MK games are games for fans...that want to play with their favourite old chars.....
like dragonball (naruto,bleach etc) games....if in a dragonball game you have only goku,vegeta as old chars and other 30 new invented chars....do you think that you will be happy? if you buy a dragonball game, you want to play as dragonball famous chars, and not with 30 new chars...
mk isn't a technical fighting game like Virtua Fighter,Soul Calibur,Tekken etc....is only a sufficient fighting game that became really good for fans because they can play with mk saga famous chars....if they remove these chars, it will be not the same thing....it became only a sufficient fighting game with unknown characters.....

well why not do a race of werewolves or you know the undead kind of thing .or you can even do a race of orcs and elves they dont have to be made up.
