New Sub-Zero and Sareena relation theory

So I thought about the new sub-zero and I realized this:

1: Could it be Hydro? He probably found out about kuai lang's death and took the name to avenge him. But if Hydro is still Lin Kuei, wouldn't he be a cyber ninja? This theory seems less probable to me, but it's a thought.

2: What if the new sub-Zero is Sareena and Bi Han's son?
Now hear me out, if mythologies happened before the first Mortal Kombat Tournament, them Bi Han would have me Sareena. What if in this timeline, Bi Han gets Sareena pregnant and has a son. What if his son finds out about his fathers death and wants revenge on scorpion which would explain the dialogue between the new sub zero and scorpion. The only thing that puzzles me with this theory is the Lin Kuei. If the new sub zero is Lin Kuei then maybe Bi Hans son trained with them? But wouldn't he be a cyborg if he did? Also, this would explain why the new sub zero is a cyromancer because he is directly related to bi Han. Finally, if Sareena is in mkx then this would explain how the new sub zero says that he is tired of maintaining "out" innocence, maybe Sareena is out for vengeance aswell

So there are my theories I hope you like them and tell me if you think this is possible.

The MK:M timeline is still intact and unless it was changed. Bi-Han and Sareena never had any intimate contact prior to MK9. Then both he and KuaiLiang died. So this pregnancy would be post-mk9 AND pending a resurrection of sorts.

Even if it was immediately, Bi-Han would have to decide "I'm not so evil" to even approach this. Not to mention his offspring would also surely grow into a formidable threat. Bi-Han defeated Quan Chi, Shinnok, Hanzo, Fujin, three other gods, Sareena&friends and legions of minions before falling to Scorpion.

Why would Bi-Han ever bring another warrior of that caliber to fruition? No way.

And even if by some chance it all managed to happen, he would be 25 years of age or younger and wouldn't have "undead" eyes.


I admire your passion and creativity here but I just don't see it happening sad

I just mentioned Hydro in another topic.
I don't think it's Hydro, I just finished reading up on him and he was killed by Scorpion as a promise to kill friends and family before killing Sub Zero (Bi Han) himself.
A nice possibility but i don't think it will happen.

As far a Bi-Han and Sareena having a kid...its another possibility. Considering Cassie is from Johnny and Sonya im sure there will be another kid in there somewhere.

I think if this Sub Zero is to be new, it would start crowding things up and being confusing when someone mentioned Sub Zero. I hope its still somehow Kuai Liang!

If Bi-Han is going to come back from the dead and be Sub again, which he'd need to do to have a son...then why wouldn't HE be the Sub in MKX? Why would the son even be necessary?

Unless MKX has more than one Sub-Zero in it.

I would rather have Sareena back. I don't really like her at all, but her relationship with Sub Zero was interesting.

And i know a lot of Sub Zero fans would be dissapointed to find out the Sub in MKX is not the one they've had as favorite since MK2.

Here's my theory on it. Quan Chi resurrects Kuai Liang in order to keep him as a safe guard against Shinnok fucking him over (Remember Bi-han shared secrets with Kuai about defeating Shinnok and also remember Quan's MK9 ending just replace Shao Kahn with Sub-Zero).

So anyway, he does this and then Sareena comes into play. She tells him not to trust Quan Chi and possibly reveals everything that has happened including why his brother was murdered.

Quan Chi learns of this and realizes that he fucked up bringing Sub-Zero back to life. So, he sends Scorpion after him to clean up his mess by telling him that Kuai was involved in his family's murder as well ( just like MK4's storyline).

Hypothetically, if Sareena had a baby with Kuai/Bi-Han, wouldn't it look somewhat like a Tarkatan? Sareena doesn't look anything like her human form. In fact, she must be pretty hideous, because Kuai immediately attacked her after waking up after she lost her disguise.

Tarkata are essentially Oni + Outworld humanoid, and Demons seem to be Oni who can assume a human form via magic. Thus, if she and one of the Sub-Zero bros. had a baby, I don't think it would look very nice (if that matters.)
I've always liked the little romance between Sareena and the Sub-Zero bros., but I'm not so sure about them having a kid together.
I'm all for Sareena in MKX, though.

Not all demons can do that. It's specific to Quan Chi and his girls. "Demon" is the overall species and "Oni" is one KIND of demon. There are other kinds, we just don't know about all of them yet.

Theoretically, if she had a kid while in human form it might come out normal looking because for all we know it's not just an illusion, that's what her actual body is shapeshifted into at the time.

Oh no doubt, it's a terrible theory. I stand by the claim that in order for EITHER of the original brothers to have a kid, they'd have to BE IN THE GAME first, which makes the whole idea of having a new third Sub-Zero a little bit pointless.
I'm just saying for the sake of argument that there's a chance one day they COULD bone and produce something that doesn't look like a horrible monster, lol.

As much as the shipper in me would love to see a child of Sareena and Sub-Zero. But even I know that it is the least likely thing to happen

because as mentioned and as afar as we know the events of MKM: Sub-Zero still occurred the way that they happened. which means Sareena is most likely still banished in the 5th plane (despite her MK9 cameo) unless they decided to retconn that.
and with one Sub-Zero dead and turned into a wraith and the other is a Cyborg.

I hope that this Sub-Zero is just either one of the brothers resurrected. at this point.

And here I thought that the spreading of ones seed was one of the most primitive instincts a creature has. How would this be showing a decline of the intellect of one person? After all procreation is a basic instinct. I think this is more of a fans stupidity to suggest even a character created wouldn't be prone to secure preservation of a bloodline.
