I think a human Lui Kang should be in the next one because, he is very iconic and he is sort of the Ryu of MK. I do hope there is a new hero in the next one also just as long as he isn't anything like Taven or Shujinko.

Liu Kang need to rot. He's a worthless character who should've been dropped years ago.

Of the current cast, if one is to become the new "main hero" I would go with Sub-Zero or Kung Lao. They work well because they've been establsihed, and in Sub-Zero's case especially, their story's have built up to the role.

If a new character is to take the role, then they need to build him/her up for it properly over a few games. Because, as seen with Shujinko and Taven, just introducing a new character from out of nowhere and proclaiming them "main hero" doesn't seem to work.

if they make a new hero it should be someone completely new. sub-zero is old just like lui kang is. but if they dont make a new hero just let it be lui kang or kung lao. i dont know but every one else(good guys) always seem to be fighting for their personal reasons opposed to fighting for everyone or earth realm. i guess their rivalry story plots with bad guys oversawdow that they are fighting for earth realm to.

yeah in past games its usualy lui kang sonya and jax fighting to save earth with help from sub zero from time to time. i dont know if i would like to see just one hero. if thats the case he/she needs some back up

Liu Kangs face needs to be stomped in. A ninja like Sub-Zero or ermac should rise to the hero rank

Why does everyone hate Liu Kang?

Just because he died and came back. Let's just leave it at that... As for a hero for the next game, I would rather not have one... Why should we get to play a game where we pick and win the game with our one character yet finds out that he/she wasn't the victorious person that actually killed the evil boss that rules the game... Kang was always that person, I would rather have some different thing happen.

We need a female hero. Someone new or it could be Kitana and/or Jade.

Stick with Shujinko.

The Former Old Fool could be a good start, essentially he could be pissed because of the apathy of the gods, or the altruistic defenders of Earth.

Killing Lui Kang was sort of stupid especially if your going to bring him back as a dumb zombie. I think something should happen where Lui Kang comes back as his normal MK self and either save the realms or die for good. I don't see any others filling his role. The only other that would come close is Kung Lao I guess. Sorry but theres no way they would make Sub-Zero or any of those ninjas the main hero, and Taven and Shujinko need to die.

Do not bring back Taven or Shujinko. They basicly force fed us those guys. As for Liu Kang, I started warming up to him in MK vs DC but i wouldn't mind having Kung Loa as the main guy.

You need some kind of hero, the main hero is the best of the heroe's. Without any what would you do with the story?

I wouldn't mind kang, but if we have to choose a new one Kung Lao , sub zero, even kenshi is a good idea, I would actually like to see cage as the hero, they sort of built him up as a leader in his bio for Armageddon and it actually made me want to play as him
