Tons of threads have been osted about how the MK engine is so out of date and that it should be more like DOA or SC or VF.

I cant help but wonder if for the new gen. systems that MK will move to the same style engine.

If they do would MK lose some of it originality? It would be almost mimicing those other games. I don't think i would like that.

What should they make the engine like for next gen MK. If you think it should be like DOA then how could they do it while still keeping originality?

I think that the next Mortal Kombat should still have the same elements that all the Kombats have had, but it should take elements from other fighting games, and deffinatley upgrade the graphics, for some reason when ever I play Mortal Kombat I can't help but feel that it just seems, I dont know to "blocky" But I think it should take elements from DOA such as there reversal system, or the combo's of Tekken. I also think before they create a whole new story line they should bring the original Mortal Kombat game back with revamped graphics and the new style tested out on it. (to get feedback from the fans, also to help the fans adjust alittle more from where it all began.) I also have a feeling that the next MK is goning to take place awhile after MKA maybe 100 years or so? Kind of like the end of DragonBall GT, but who knows! Thats just my opinionglasses
