what can we expect by that? a system like Dead or Alive with Martial Art styles and entering combonations like X, Y,A (xbox) or X, O, triagle for a weapon to be summoned like in MK4. that's my guess.
I would hope for a mix of MK, VF, Tekken, DOA, Def Jam.

Just a few things that stand out that I'd want to see in MK.

MK = supernatural moves
VF = Collapse combos, well designed game play, with one game element that's too powerful. Like juggles
Tekken = Number of moves, style of animation
DOA = Stun combos
King of fighters 2006 = canceling moves in to specials
Soul Calibur = Weapon combat
Def Jam = Stage interaction

I can't think of too many things that would make MK too unique.

Maybe, if juggles are done more like in MK2 / Street fighter 3

So getting rid of the standard juggles in 3D fighters by adding further push away and more gravity when hit.

They could go with an adventure game type combat system, but I wouldn't like that very much.

You might see more stage interaction, like what you see in movies like Jackie Chan films.

About Me

And the taller you are, the harder you fall. That's why a lot of us crawl.

They should make it much easier to block it really annoys me when you watch the build up and the chroegraphy looks amazing all the blocks then when an attack is finally landed it has much more impact and you feel like you earned it then you actually play the game and its such a disapointment thats why most the fight last barely 30 seconds

I aslo think the blocking needs to be worked on, but I think a good change would be the addition of ground fighting. There are a ton of stand up fighting styles, but none, other than Sambo and Judo that really have any grappling. Air combat possible, so why not be able to take your opponent down an beat them silly? It would give players more fighting styles to use. I think it would be cool to put a character in an armbar or try to choke your opponent to death. I think that would add more depth to the game. Plus I would like to be able to counter punch and opponent, so you can stun the opponent for a second. I wouldn't mind being able to hit certain areas of the body so you can weaken an enemy. Nothing like percision punching. I just hope to see these things in the next gen games.

I just want a realistic fighting engine and the characters to react very quickly to the directions that the player gives with the gamepad.
Also I would like the interaction of mkd and mka to go to a next level, more interaction with the backgrounds like def jam.
