Ok so here is my predictions for DLC

One of the things I've always felt sad about regarding DLC characters in the last two NRS games is their complete absence from story mode

Rain would have been a great addition to MK9's story as an early ally/turncoat when the going gets tough, and his interactions with Kitana would have been a joy

Skarlet would have been a fine lackey

and Kenshi another member to help Raiden and co.



Same goes for injustice-M. Manhunter revealing himself to be the Atlantion dude
Batgirl helping out Bruce

Lobo teaming up for some reason etc etc

All these amazing characters we love available to play with but nowhere to be found in the main section of the game



so my theory is NRS will amend this, slightly

NRS will have Sonya, Johnny, Sindel, Baraka, maybe even Jax as DLC


They will all appear in the Story mode-we've seen evidence of this but not playable as the story will revolve around the new generation


but soon after release they will be available to buy. and who could sell better than the old favorites
