Before I begin let me start by saying thank you NRS for MKX and thank MKO for all the coverage leading up to it's release.

For me, MKX reminds me a lot of MK Deception Or MK2. Due to it feeling like it's building on something already established. I'll just do this as a pros and cons.

PROS:

QTE events were a fun way to make the cut scenes interesting.
The amount of NPCs in the story that made cameos.
Story fights involving NPC s
Exploring new characters was fun
ladders
the krypT was cool. (Although I ended up buying the unlock DLC)
The stage interactions are fun and useful. I was afraid because during Mkasts they seemed to avoid them.
Quan Chis Death!! I thought was cool. Sort of felt like Scorpion finally got his revenge
Sub Zero and Scorpion in story was cool.
Fatalities
The Epilogue

Cons:

They need to tone down the rate the super meter fills. I dont like getting two X Rays per 3 round fight. Maybe limit X rays to 1 per fight??
The story had its moment's, and its flatness. More importantly it felt... Incomplete. I thought at the end I was going to start act 2.
Kotals end in story. He and his squad simply gets escorted black to Outworld while shinnok is running a muck and destroying the Earth? And it was Sub Zero to do it? Why didn't he help fight Shinnok??
What was the point of having Kung Lao, Liu Kang and kitana in normal updated outfits if they were never in story that way?
I feel like for the next DLC they could give us:

Fujin
3 God inspired skins
Rain
3 ninja skins for non ninjas
Sareena
3 Netherrealm inspired skins
Baraka
3 Outworld inspired skins

It feels like they could have had another row of characters but scrapped them to sell as DLC.
