As most fans loved MK9 and Ed Boon always wanted to make all games on one disc, why not try to remake MKA... but actually good this time, There is soo much they can get on the Blu-ray discs and Tekken Tag 2 proved this.. Taven, his brother, Shujinko can be left out as they was just terrible.

I wish they would get this stupid Injucties game out already so they can get to work on MK10.. MK X sounds better ;)

So are you saying that you want Mortal Kombat 10, a remake of Mortal Kombat Armageddon or a compilation that has MK1 through MK:A all on one disc?

Three things.

1.) If they were to do some big Armageddon remake, they would obviously have to include the characters we all hate and never wish they'd come back.

2.) No. I don't ever want to see Armageddon come back, or have another MK game be like it. It sucked, I wished I never even had played it... It sucked more than Deception.

3.) I still don't see how this is the tenth game, seeing how the timeline on this site still states that MK9 is actually MK8 clearly shows that I'm not the only person that thinks this way... I will never agree that MKvsDC is the eighth game, as it shares hardly any sole purpose being in the main story.

* (The last part is mainly my interpretation of the series, of course none of you have to agree upon that)

This probably isn't what you were talking about, but I've always thought MK should do their own Tag Tournament game.

Think about it:

-Non-Canon

-Specific Team pairings get Tag Fatalities, Tag throws, Tag Intros/Outros, and Tag X-Rays

-Brings back all characters for a momentous experience

-1vs1 is an option

With a game like that, where could you go wrong?

Armageddon was a mistake.

Ed knows it. We know it. Everyone knows it.

KungLaodoesntsuck i like that idea alot but if it were to happen i'd like it to be a side series of mk instead of being the main series.

kinda like how sf has alpha series,ex series and how tekken has the main series and how they also have tag.

i do like the idea though and would love to do a scorpion/reptile fatality.

i'm thinking if mk10 comes out it should have the same roster and an added 12 characters ,12 stages, new music, coulple more modes, improved online/offline mode. kinda like how marvel vs capcom 3 and ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 were. this way it wouldn't take 2-3 years it take a liitle more than a year. rebalence characters, maybe add a new move or 2. just improve apon what's already working.

Well it goes without saying that MK: Tag Tornament would be a side series. I couldn't even imagine what kind of story they would have to pull out of their ass to make something like that canon. I still firmly believe Armageddon should've been non-canon.

But whether they do an MK Tag Tournament or not, Tag Fatalities are a must.

I like the idea of a MK Tag Tournament game but I don't think they could really do it. Maybe they could if they only included the real main kharacters but they couldn't do them all because they don't know who they would pair everyone up besides the obvious ones like Liu Kang & Kung Lao. Take Skarlet for example, I would like to see her in that game but who in the blue hell would she team with?

Skarlet/meat i'd think make a great team. flesh/blood.

some teams would be harder to come up with but some obvious ones are.

skarlet/meat
sub-zero/frost
kung - lao/liu kang
shang tsung/quan - chi
sonya/jax
reptile/onaga
taven/dagon
kitana/mileena
reiko/shao kahn
smoke/noob saibot

these are just to name few.

so i think tag would work.

I dunno, I tend to find something redeemable in every MK game I've played. Granted, I never played Special Forces, but in terms of the main games in the series, there was stuff that I liked about Armageddon.

For one thing, I thought that they finally got a good number of special moves in the game for most characters. As much as I liked MK:DA, I thought that game really missed the mark on special moves.

I also liked the create a character mode for what it was. Sure, having way more moves, way more special moves, way more clothing options etc would've been nice, but again, it wasn't terrible.

Skarlet could team up with Ermac. Both wear red and are made up of other people.

MK could easily give newer characters partners. Even if they never had any interaction in the story, but shared some character traits.

That could be possible but I think they would team up Ermac with Kenshi again like they did in the original timeline.

a game full of gimmicks, in simplier words?
No thanks, the whole 3D era was a gimmick-grapfest.

What about going on the same path used in MK9?

I mean, finally Ed Boon & Co have found their way for MK. We have the basic gameplay, a good story mode that needs improvements but was copied and pasted by a lot of games (DoA5 and SC5), online, resurrected popularity, a movie in the making, a web-series....

Thus, non considering that MK9 or 8 already had the "compilation" aspect, bringing back all the characters from the golden era of MK, excluding Motaro

MK: Tag would be following MK9's gameplay. If that wasn't already clear.

Also, the only "Gimmick" would be the Tag element.

no adding all the characters would be great if the world didnt have to end when they do it. mka felt like a cop out story.

Ok I like it; but they'd really need to come up with an excellent reason (story) for everyone to tag with someone like armageddon but they'd need to form an alliance to destroy everyone else.

Blaze and Mocap need an awesome story for being together, but for jesus of if they do that they better use the smaller blaze and give him more moves.

It would be genius to bring Sub-Zero and Scorpion together so they could defeat sektor and sub could be grandmaster and they could bring back the shori ryu back and have like an army.

A tag game would be great especially for a sequal.

The problem with that is it would be basically just like Street Fighter X Tekken. I wish they would make a Netherrealm Studios VS Capcom. If they did it earlier, it would have been Midway VS or X Capcom (Way Catchier). Just include Midway characters and Capcom characters and there you go. But, MKX would be cool, better than MK10, it sounds. Just make sure it is like a 2D armageddon. People would probably like characters better if they had a different costume, I was hoping for Li Mei and Darrius for MK9 . . . boo!

And there is my big rant!
