Glad to see there's many others who've taken an interest. But really though, even if I had never played MK, that announcement trailer would of caught my attention regardless.

Hope our Gamestop release party isn't as pitiful as 2011's.

This is fantastic and proves that the trailer did excactly what it supposed to do. Get people's interest and attention. I hope NRS can continue this momentum and not drop off the radar in marketing. Mortal Kombat is certainly on the rise.

To be fair, this series is good for being able to induce hype amongst people. I think what's great about this game in particular is how darker and more sinister it comes off plus there's the intrigue of new characters and really changing things up.

Its no surprise.

MK is a part of pop culture. Everyone knows about "Finish Him/Her!" or "Fatality!" and "Get over here!". MK has also been around for quite a long time, so there's always hype when a new one is announced.
