We got our Skarlet of the game in Tremor, we got another 3D character, let's see what else they have in their bag of tricks before all is said and done and the curtain falls on MKX. To be honest, I was completely expecting this Kombat Pack to be the 2 guests we got and 2 MK9 returnee's so they already surprised the fuck out of me.

Not including "Post Trilogy" characters in the retelling of "Post Trilogy" events is shitting on "Post Trilogy" as we know it.

Isn't Tanya post trilogy? Is Tremor not basically post trilogy too? I know he liked to hang out with Jarek.

This, like FO REAL. I get that its a retelling and a different story, but c'mon. Even one more day one roster spot to a post MK 3 character would do wonders in the diversity of this roster.

To be fair, we have not seen how many of those left out are going to be NPCs.

Still, I would choose Hsu Hao over Tremor or any Trilogy character anytime.

Wow I could not be more conflicted, and that makes me mad at NRS for giving in to the DLC consumerism culture. I'm so mad I'm listening to Slipknot & I just ate a whole packet of Jaffa cakes.

As far as Tanya's look, well her face is terrible but she's definitely not finished. I'm totally digging the outfit. She should definitely get an alt with her long plait too.

I for one am super happy they're giving Tremor a proper shot at full realisation. I've always been pro-Tremor (but no more or less than any other character).

Don't really care for Pred as I already mentioned, but seeing him “appear” in the vid makes me think they really know what to do with him.

I really wish all the haters would FUCK OFF at least most of you have the CHANCE to try out these characters/skins etc. Stop acting like spoilt brats and be happy that NRS made characters that are now being revised and revisited rather than shunned into obscurity forever. I only wish I (as a consumer and fan) was privvy to more of their artistic integrity. My game is now delayed until June, except it still won't have all content. WHAT'S THE FUCKING POINT? I was so hoping this wouldn't go down the injustice route.

I love the support for this NRS is still working on 'such and such' claim. Maybe I am too skeptical of DLC in general.

I think they all look awful to tell you the truth. Like someone else said though, hopefully this is just a rough cut and basically leaks forcing NRS's hand in unveiling them sooner than planned. Just overall the models look really under detailed and last gen to me. Nowhere near on par with the in game full roster models at all.

I'm also pretty disappointed that there is no Kabal or Spawn. Would have easily been my favorite characters. here is hoping we get more than just the 4 dlc characters like we did with injustice.

Are they going to release all 4 characters at the same time or spread them out?? I hope we do not have to wait for Tremor for multiple months?? I also wonder if they will include these 4 characters in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions as a sympathy plug. Then once the PS3 and 360 version and all 4 DLC have been release make an announcement for individual DLC characters 1 every couple months until they start making MK11. At that time I bet we get 2 more DLC characters tops!!! Hopefully Noob & Havik or Reiko!!!

You act as if DLC is new. Get over it. It's not like you'll get to a certain point in story and then you'll have to wait because the character for that chapter isn't out yet.

DLC is bad, but releasing UMK3, MKTrilogy, MK Gold, and other update games were awesome and totally not the same thing.

DLC for games is the status quo. Anyone who thinks otherwise is in denial and delirious.

As far as that is concerned, this is obviously a business move. It's pretty much a given we are going to get a handful more characters after the Kombat Pack is completed. They wanted to for MK9 but didn't happen, it did happen with Injustice, it'll happen again with MKX. How many is up for debate whether just 2 or maybe 3 or as an extreme, low probability 4. What is blatantly obvious, to me anyway, was the two riskiest characters in terms of sales were packaged together with the two guests to ensure they sell decently.

Mark my words and quote me if you must; the final handful of characters sold separately will be the ones they know for a fact will sell well separately; i.e. characters like Noob, Cyrax, Smoke, Fujin, Shang Tsung, Frost, ect.

None of it is good at all. I think the major issue people take with DLC is that this stuff is planned from the beginning or before the game has even come out. DLC is fine is it's thought of/created post launch.

Devs need to keep in mind about keeping the game relevant. Look at mario kart 8, and how it took 8 months before any DLC was released for that game. But I agree dlc that is released within the first few weeks after launch is pretty shady.

For all this children I must say: roster of the game decided long before it goes into production, so there is no way, they decide to add character several months before release of the game. Midway days are over.

As for the reveal: roster of this game is a trainwreck. But amounts of salt it creates is infinitely amusing.

Liu and Jax are 100% in the game and the final character who needs to be confimred is Erron (sort of).

I am pretty sure there won't be cyborgs, because of Predator, who most likely will use a lot of their specials (though its justified in his case, since cyborgs have been based of Predator). I liked that Rain and Baraka fans have been BTFO'd, at least for now.

Tanky will look better in the final game. Tremor...I don't care abut him much, but it'll be fun, if second KP include Tasia, Jarek and No-Face. Then MKO will collapse under salt and shit of braindead zealots or never satissfied pathetic creeps, as well, as pretty much all other MK fansites.
