Games for Windows Top LIVE Titles
(Based on unique users. August 22nd 2012, via Major Nelson.)
  • GTA IV
  • Age of Empires Online
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
  • Fallout 3
  • Microsoft Flight
  • DiRT 3
  • Resident Evil 5
  • F1 2011
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum
  • Fable III
  • Fable III (again; don’t ask me)
  • Gotham City Impostors
  • Colin McRae: Dirt 2
  • Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
  • Bulletstorm
  • F1 2010
  • Street Fighter X Tekken
  • Street Fighter IV
  • BioShock 2
  • Street Fighter triumphs the computer fighting game sales with multiple similar installations. Where is Mortal Kombat? The same product would gain more attention, profit and fan base stirring the PC variety. Do discuss.

i wouldn't mind mk10 being on pc. since i don't own a 360/ps3 i might get it on pc if it were to happen.

the online itself might be better than consoles because your already running your connection by being on the pc. might have chance of less lag.

    good thread man.wink

I was right, albeit MK went for Steam because Windows LIVE Games has been aborted. This was a success to NRS. Thanks for taking "advice", Ed.

    This.

Fighting games are the only reason I've wasted my money on consoles.

PC gaming is just more convenient and affordable. I already "need" a computer because of every day "transactions" so spending a little extra to get an (upgraded from the standard) gaming video card, decent RAM, and a good CPU is just about equivalent to buying a console. And I feel sorry for those poor bastards who throw their money away on LIVE (lol wtf seriously guys?).

I've been using the same damn computer to play games since 2006 (same damn year PS3 came out) and I STILL hit the recommended system reqs on "top notch" games released today (same damn year PS4 is out now). I don't need to dish out an additional 5 to 6 hundred dollars for a stupid little box with an ass load of features I'm not going to use just to play MK.

Now that Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition and Injustice: Gods Among Us: Ultimate Edition have successfully been released for Steam, the odds of Steam getting Mortal Kombat X at some point as well have certainly risen.

NetherRealm Studios seem to have established Steam as its primary digital computer game platform, PlayStation as the primary home and portable console system and iOS as the primary app game platform.

I edited the subject title to correspond with the current situation better.

Why not? The more people that can get their hands on it, the better.

The only minor setback is piracy but as we now saw, it was worth every effort for NetherRealm Studios and their publisher Warner Brothers.

Of course, we do not support piracy. Let credit go where credit is due.

I'd be up for that. I would get it because I may or may not get the Xbox One or the PS4. Mortal Kombat 2011 looks good on PC and there wasn't a Mortal Kombat on PC since MK 4.
