posted06/13/2005 12:34 AM (UTC)bymk vs. sc would be so unbelievably cewl
i mean imagine scorpion fighting nighmare or goro fighting astoroth i know people want mk to go against tekken or streetfighter but they don't work with the new mk style the only one that could sort of match it would be soul calibur
and they could even make it more of a midway vs. namco by putting in the guy from psi ops or the guy from the suffering and namco could add some tekken charactors and since spawn was in sc2 he should make an appearence in it ...
SPAWN VERSUS SCORPION!!!
...toasty...

I would seriously doubt Namco would even consider the idea. However, it would indeed be awesome to see the Mortal Kombat intellectual property in the hands of a development team that isn't quite as hapless as the MK Team.

not a good mix because the do fighting differntly like sould caliber u can do crazy combos..and mk u do fatalities ext. so no that would be horrible...
if it was streetfighert tha soul calbier maybe..

I think the best match up would be KI VS MK because they are already pretty similar.
This is off topic, but I'd like to see a Samurai Showdown game that plays similar to Soul calibur. It would be different but with realistic combat like in SC.
Picture Mitsurugi as Houmaru with the tornado slash. Mitsurugi already has the spinning uppercut slash = df,df+v,v
Or the guy with the 6 or 7 swords from Samurai Showdown 5.

I think it'd be fun to see, but shouldn't be done. Both games revolve around completetly different things and their styles are vastly different. If it did happen, at least we could be sure of seeing a decent MK game.

But then think about how they have characters like Li Mei, Sonya, Liu Kang, Kung lao, Jonny cage .........In MK doing fatalities.
None of those characters are cold blooded killers, but they still do fatalities.
So keeping that in mind, any of the fighters in SC could also do fatalities just as well.
One reason why MK VS SC would be a problem is the Time line.
Unless they have time travel or a large set of new fighters from MK that would be alive in the SC time line.
But wait, the MK warriors are Immortal untill killed right?
Aren't they supposed to stay a certain age if they are the chosen ones? I don't remember where I read that or if I'm just making it up.
