From what I can see, the story so far has alot to do about Raiden turning evil. So perhaps call it Mortal Kombat: Black Thunder or something along those lines. I hope i helped.

I am Raiden, former protector of Earth Realm. I can still remember making the decision to release my power in an attempt to destroy Onaga, little did I know that by choosing so I would set in motion the greatest thing to ever happen to me. For too long I had protected a weak realm and fought for those who were ungreatful and hungry for glory. For too long I had fought an outcome that is inevitable. While my powers gathered in Earthrealm, I was met by a being that I had only heard of in the past, the One Being. It spoke to me, telling me that I had been abused by the Elder Gods all of these years, that I had been forced to protect Earthrealm because they cared not to do so themselves. I had been deceived. The One Being was right. Without thought, I agreed to the One Being’s proposal of an alliance. I accepted. The spirit of the One Being consumed me, transforming my appearance and greatly expanding my powers. Let me take back what I said earlier, for I...We... are no longer Raiden. We have the Kamidogu, and soon we will have the amulet. The Elder Gods can do nothing. We will reign supreme once again!

I witnessed it all. After defeating Onaga, I stood above his corpse, pleased with my completed mission. Soon, the new Raiden appeared, different from how I remember him. Suddenly, he attacked the fool Shujinko, which I did not expect to happen. Oblivious to why this had happened, I was transported to the heavens, by my newest masters. There, the Elder Gods told me of what had happened after congratulating me on what I had done. They seemed very much more worried than the first time I had seen them. They told me of Raiden’s corruption at the hands of the One Being. They told me of the return of Liu Kang and Shao Kahn. They told me of Havik’s possession of Quan Chi’s amulet. And last, they told me of the resurrection of Quan Chi himself. My new mission is to kill Raiden and prevent his merging of the Kamidogu. However, it seems I may also have my best shot at taking revenge upon the sorcerer Quan Chi as well.

I have saved Earthrealm from destruction four times in the past. Now, it seems I must save not only Earthrealm, but all of existence. My old friend Raiden has been merged with the spirit of the One Being, and now he is trying to merge the Kamidogu. Ermac and I could only free Kung Lao’s soul from Onaga’s treachery, I am afraid the others are lost forever. Other unfortunate news is that not only have Shang Tsung and Quan Chi been resurrected by Raiden, they are also allied with him. And if that was not enough, Shao Kahn has returned to his throne in Outworld and sees now as a perfect time to attempt to control the Realms again. This leaves me with a tough decision on whether to attack Raiden or stay here in Earthrealm and fight Shao Kahn. I have decided to attack Raiden, for I would rather see Earthrealm fall than for all of existence to be erased. However, Earthrealm will not go unprotected, I have entrusted and old friend with its protection.

The Lin Kuei have been selected by Liu Kang to protect Earthrealm from Shao Kahn. As grandmaster, I will see to it that Earthrealm does not fall. As for other matters, my struggle with Baraka’s army left me weak, and left not a Tarkatan warrior alive. I sense that Baraka will seek revenge for this. Also, on my journey back to Earthrealm, I met a wraith named Noob Saibot, who was attempting to open a portal to the Netherrealm. The dark ninja turned on me and I fought with him for some time. When I unleashed and Ice Blast that barely missed my attacker, the wraith moved back, as if remembering something. Suddenly, my old ally Smoke appeared, and it surprised me to discover that the cyborg was allied with Saibot. As the wraith ordered Smoke to attack me, he opened the portal to the Netherrealm. “Wait, Smoke, come with me, we shall deal with my brother later,” said the wraith as he leaped through the portal. I grabbed Smoke’s leg to prevent him from trailing the dark ninja as the portal closed. I quickly disabled the hostile cyborg as I contemplated what the wraith had called me as he went through the portal.

ARRRRGH!!!
I cannot believe that my comrades could have been dispatched so easily. In my haste to confront Mileena, I told my troops to handle Sub-Zero. What a fool. How could I have known that they would have been killed so easily? My triumph over the traitor Mileena was celebrated for only a short while. I returned to the camp only to find multiple empty tents and a smoldering fire. Since then I have been contacted by my old ally Shao Kahn to lead his armies once again. I will taste human blood once more! Sub-Zero will pay for what he has done!

Chaos must reign supreme. For this to happen, I did what needed to be done. I watched and waited for Shujinko to defeat Onaga, however that did not happen. Although more chaos ensued when Scorpion came to defeat him. I could not have enjoyed it anymore! However, my glee was short lived when I saw Raiden come to collect the Kamidogu. I knew he too must have planned to fuse them together, just like Onaga! I could not let this happen. I spotted the Amulet that had been placed on Onaga’s throne and I lunged after it quickly. I had remembered from my teachings as a young boy that the Kamidogu could not be fused without the amulet. I dodged Raiden’s shots of lightning as I grabbed the amulet. Suddenly, the amulet opened a portal and I jumped into it. The portal led me here, to Outworld. I have heard of Shao Kahn’s rise to power and I have decided to journey to his kingdom to give him the amulet. CHAOS WILL TRIUMPH OVER ALL!

At last, I have come out of hiding to reclaim my spot as emperor of Outworld! My plan to create a clone worked out quite well. So the fools Shang Tsung and Quan Chi thought they could defeat ME!? How stupid can they be? Seeing as Raiden has abandoned his precious Earthrealm, now is the perfect time to strike! I will rally those who are afraid of Raiden, and I will overpower the so-called “heroes” such as Liu Kang and my former wife Sindel. Edenia, Earthrealm, Orderrealm, and the others will all be mine to control! Then, I will lead an assault on Raiden. When he is destroyed, not only will the Realms be under my control, but I will have the Kamidogu as to use as a threat against the Elder Gods themselves! Then, I will not only be Emporer, but the Supreme Ruler of all existence!! All will fear Shao Kahn once more!

Much has happened, although I have not lost sight of my dream. My younger brother, Sub-Zero, has stolen my original ally, Smoke, from my control. He shall pay for this. I transported myself to the Netherrealm, but without Smoke, I couldn’t create my army of demon cyborgs. As I racked my brain for a solution, I was attacked by the demon Ashrah. The fool thought she could kill me, but I managed to subdue her and escape. I opened a portal to Outworld and arrived near the Dragon King’s Temple. As I wandered, a strange man with a mask on approached me. “My name is Kabal, former member of the Black Dragon, I am in need of a hiding place, for my life is in danger,” said the man. I was familiar with the Black Dragon Clan and I agreed to hide him. Soon, the old warrior Bo’Rai’Cho ran past along with the Queen of Edenia, Sindel. As they left, Kabal explained to me that he had tried to reform the Black Dragon and had two recruits. These recruits were to prove themselves by defeating Bo’Rai’Cho and Sindel after the Dragon King had been defeated. However, both of the recruits were defeated and Kabal had no chance but to run. Intrigued by this tale, I got an idea. I offered Kabal help to reform his Black Dragon Clan if he would let me lead the group. Kabal thought it over, then accepted. Since then, we have been looking for new recruits. Once we have enough members, I will use the new Black Dragon as my army. Soon, all shall know and fear Noob Saibot!

I had failed to complete my quest and I am still trapped in the Netherrealm. Noob Saibot was not originally a demon it turns out, but that does not change the fact that I was defeated at his hands. Using his trickery, he eluded me and opened a portal which I could not follow through. Even though I am unhappy with my failure, it seems I have a purpose for being here. I have met an Indian warrior named Nightwolf, who has become a “sin eater” or so he says, and has spent the recent part of his life here in the Netherrealm. His old ally, Liu Kang has contacted him and entrusted he and I to form a demon army for which to battle Shao Kahn with. Nightwolf tells me that if Kahn captures this realm, he could unleash the demon and oni upon the other realms. Nightwolf and I have been busy traveling the planes of the Netherrealm, surching for demons who despise the foul Emporer. It is not easy and we are running out of time.

I have been selected as the new protector of Earthrealm. It pains me to fight my mentor and old friend Raiden. However, to avoid his wrath, I will do whatever must be done. Upon my arrival in Earthrealm, I met with Liu Kang, who I was surprised to see. The shoalin monk told me that Earthrealm was already in good hands with Sub-Zero and his clan. Kang told me that I would be of more help joining him in going after Raiden. I could not refuse his offer, yet I still hold a responsibility for Earthrealm, and I will come back if the Lin-Kuei fail.

Despite all this, I cannot help but feeling that there may still be some hope for Raiden.


Name: Mutaru
Alignment: Evil

Enemies: Dairou, Liu Kang, Shao Kahn, Havik

I am Mutaru, brother of Hotaru. I am a cleric of order. I have just returned from my journey to eliminate the terrorist Darrius, of which I have succeeded. Upon returning to Seido, I learned of my brother’s murder at the hands of my childhood friend, Dairou. I was shocked at the chaos. I had little time to mourn however. Soon, I was contacted by an Earthrealm warrior named Liu Kang. He told me of the return of the emporer Shao Kahn and the rise of the One Being through Raiden. Upon completion of his tale, he asked me if I would serve as the protector of Seido from Shao Kahn’s attacks. I declined him, seeing a better resolution. Since then I have come into contact with Lord Raiden. I have let him and his followers use my realm as a headquarters for their noble quest. Chaos will be relinquished with and only with the fusion of the Kamidogu and the return of the One Being.




Name: Bo’Rai’Cho

The events that have occurred recently are most unsettling. As I watched Shujinko fail, Scorpion defeat Onaga, and Raiden come to power, I had hoped I would wake up. But this is no nightmare. Unfortunately, I witnessed Raiden’s return and his wrath. Shortly after he disposed of Shujinko, Raiden tried to sway Sindel and I to join him, but we soon realized what had happened to him as he spoke of the One Being. Suddenly, the man known as Havik stormed the room and grabbed Quan Chi’s amulet. Sindel and I defended him as he tried to escape, knowing that if Raiden had the amulet, he could fuse the Kamidogu. This was a mistake. In fact, had it not been for Kabal’s recruits attacking us, Raiden could have destroyed both the Queen and I. Kobra and Kira ambushed us, Raiden recognized the two former occupants of Earthrealm and became enraged at their intrusion, and destroyed them most brutally. Sindel and I ran quickly from the palace. Apparently, Kabal thought we were coming after him, for he ran as soon as he saw us coming. Sindel and I traveled for some time before we met with an unexpected threesome, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Ermac. It was through me that Liu Kang found out about Raiden’s corruption. Kung Lao and Liu Kang were in disbelief, but it seemed as if Ermac already knew about the recent turn of events. The five of us fled to my home in Earthrealm, where word had already reached of Shao Kahn’s return. There we devised the plan to protect the realms from Kahn while launching an attack on Raiden. It was decided that I would resume my join position as general of Kitana’s armies and fight Kahn in Outworld. I am in camp with my troops, waiting for this war to begin.

All hail Shao Kahn! My spirit flowed into my body, expecting to see Bo’Rai’Cho or Raiden, but instead I saw Shao Kahn. Instead of hating him however, I felt a deep love for him. My emporer told me of how Liu Kang had come back from the dead, only to betray me and leave my soul in the control of Onaga. Something told me not to believe him, but I couldn’t. All of my memories were good thoughts of Shao Kahn’s persistent leadership and of Liu Kang’s pathetic attempts at stopping him. I have learned that the fool Bo’Rai’Cho is manipulating my armies to attack the emporer’s armies, this will not last long. My current assignment is to destroy Liu Kang and Bo’Rai’Cho and take back my army.

I cannot decide what is more sickening, Raiden’s corruption or Shao Kahn’s treachery. It has come to my attention that the tyrant Kahn has resurrected my true daughter, Kitana, and altered her memory. He is now using my brainwashed daughter as a weapon against the defenders of the realms, and against her former love, Liu Kang. The Shaolin Monk has asked me to rally my kingdom of Edenia and gather my armies to hold off Shao Kahn’s armies. I agreed without thinking twice. Jade and I have begun preparing our defense and our numbers are great. Shao Kahn has many enemies here in Edenia, and we will not let him oppress us again.

Queen Sindel is under much stress. I cannot blame her. She and I have raised an army of Edenia’s finest warriors and we are preparing for war with Shao Kahn’s forces. A few days ago, the Queen asked me to do something. She wants me to fight Kitana if she comes to Edenia, the Queen is afraid that she could not do it herself. I must admit, it is hard for me to think about fighting one of my best friends from the past. Hah, friend, more like a sister.







Name: Kabal

Enemies: Raiden, Mavado

I must admit, I do not trust this wraith as much as I’d like to, but he certainly knows how to recruit. It still pains me to think of how good recruits like Kobra and Kira were destroyed because of a fallen god’s wrath. Raiden will feel the wrath of the new Black Dragon. Believe me. Noob knows what he wants and he’s not afraid to go and get it. Our first recruit, Scarab, or Nate Scarlow. Scarab was a death row serial killer that Noob met many years ago. We just broke him out of jail a few days ago. With this lunatic and a few more of his caliber, the Black Dragon will once again be feared for our brutality and blood lust. No one will escape our plans. All who stands in our way will fall!

KILL! It’s what I do. I don’t give a f*** whether its for fun or for the Black Dragon. I’m already the most notorious homicidal artist in all of Earthrealm, soon I will be known throughout all the Realms. Noob loves how brutal and how blood thirsty I am, he treats me like the brother he never had. HE HE HE. Sorry. The voices in my head are talking to me again. I got a couple buddies that Noob thinks we should pay a visit to, see if they wanna join up. Who knows, maybe I’ll run this clan one day. KILL, KILL! Sorry.

In my quest to become a sin eater, I have become trapped in the Netherrealm. I have no regret however. Liu Kang reached me in a dream just a few weeks ago and told me what has happened. I have since then reached Ashrah, who has agreed to help me in defending Netherrealm. I fear though, not only are there not enough who are loyal to the forces of good here, but there are too many who would support the Shao Kahn. This will be the toughest fight I have faced in my entire life. I have prayed to the gods that help will come from unexpected sources, but my hope is growing dim.

I have been hired for many jobs, but for this one, I have not been hired. I offered my assistance to Liu Kang to stop someone that has gone mad. Mutaru, my childhood friend, must be stopped. What he has done in assisting Raiden is despicable. I have put aside all emotion in this matter to do what must be done for the good of the realms and the future existence of all things. I will do what must be done, even if it means killing my old friend.

Enemies: Noob Saibot

I am forever greatful to my old ally Sub-Zero for saving me from the evil wraith, Noob-Saibot. He had programmed me into believing that he was a true friend when in fact he was only using me. Since then, Sub-Zero has reprogrammed me into my former self, restoring as much of my human memory that was left. I am now again a faithful member of the Lin-Kuei, and I will aid Sub-Zero in defending Earthrealm against my former master, Shao Kahn.


Name: Quan Chi/Shang Tsung
Alignment: Evil
Allies: Raiden, Mutaru
Enemies: Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Shao Kahn

We are the Deadly Alliance. The only force to ever defeat the defenders of Earthrealm. The only force to kill Liu Kang. The only force to dethrone Shao Kahn. Raiden killed us both in his attempt to destroy Onaga, which did not work. However, it was the best thing to ever happen to us. While our souls wandered the Netherrealm, Raiden came to us, changed from our last encounter. He was not hear to torment or fight, but to make a truce. He told us of the One Being, and of his plan to merge the Kamidogu. He then offered to bring us back to life, in exchange for our help. How could we refuse? Soon, the world will know the new Deadly Alliance.

Enemies: Raiden, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Shao Kahn

The breath rushed back into my lungs. My eyes opened and I saw an old face. The face of my old friend, Liu Kang. He had been resurrected and then he had released my soul from the grasp of the Dragon King with the help of Ermac. We did not have much time to discuss anything as we soon met with Bo’Rai’Cho, who had the most dreadful news of any. Raiden had been corrupted by evil. My mind could not comprehend having to fight against our oldest ally. But, what must be done to save the realms must be done, regardless of who must be defeated. We are not in for an easy fight. This could very well be the biggest struggle of all time.

We had felt the presence of a greater evil when Kung Lao had been released. The presence was in fact Raiden being corrupted with The One Being. We knew that the Dragon King would be nothing compared to this new threat. We have followed our friend, Liu Kang, throughout his journey to unite his old friends to save the realms from Shao Kahn as well. We have our own agenda however, to destroy our maker, the sorcerer Shang Tsung. When we find him, we will have no mercy.

Not bad, you've got a couple of good ideas. Let me give you a tip of advice though. Try and make your setences more varied and less choppy. Alot of your sentenses start with the same words, and it makes everyting look the same. But I like your ideas man. With time you'll get much better. Yeah, Raiden's corruption is definitely a strong theme in the story. So try coming up with a name that has to do with Raiden's depravity. Here are some of my titles that might help you out: Mortal Kombat: Black Thunder, Mortal Kombat: The fallen God, Mortal Kombat: Betrayal. Nice read man. Good luck.

Well, here's my Shujinko bio.

Name: Shujinko

Enemies: Raiden, Scorpion, Onaga

I cannot help but believe that I have put existence in danger because of my actions in the past. I had been tricked by the Dragon King into finding him the six Kamidogu, however, I am afraid that those six artifacts rest in even more dangerous hands now. The heavens have been more of a hell since Raiden ended my time in the Realms do to my constant self-blame for putting all of existence in danger. Even as a lost spirit, my well-being is threatened, for if Raiden manages to fuse the Kamidogu, all will be lost to the One Being. I feel that I cannot let this happen. Recently, I had met with the Elder Gods, trying to persuade them to resurrect my body so I could aid in the fight against Raiden. They have denied my offer, for they feel bitter towards my past. Depressed, I wandered the heavens, searching for a way to redeem myself.


When the battles started in Earthrealm, I watched from the heavens, wishing I could be there. Soon, I came up with an idea. If I could possess the corpse of a fallen warrior, I could offer my assistance in the fight. When I saw the body of a young Lin Kuei assasin fall to the ground, I made my move. Within seconds, I was looking out the eyes of a once dead man. With these eyes, I saw a Tarkatan warrior rush at me. With ease, I killed the attacker, and realized that I had not felt this young in a long time.

How many Tarkatans will fall by my hands in this battle? As many as it takes to cleanse my soul.



Well, that's it for Shujinko. I don't really like this bio as much as the others, but I just think it's a cool way for Shujinko to sort of redeem himself by helpin out Sub-Zero with the fight in Earthrealm. Let me know what you think about this.

I actually think Shujinko has the best story. You really conveyed his emotions very well. Nice.

It's a really good idea. But i saw something wrong: If someone first plays as Sindelfor the first time playing, her bio says "I cannot decide what is more sickening, Raiden?s corruption or Shao Kahn?s treachery". Wouldn't they be asking things like "Rainden's corruption?" "What the...?" or "How can he turn evil?"Besides that and it with some other people, i say its good idea.
