Mortal Kombat should go back in arcades!!!!!
in my small Idahoan town there is a resteraunt called Pizza Factory ,my favorite resteraunt, and they have arcade games there and i see alone back in the corner only worth 1 quarter while all the others take 2 and one takes 3, MK3 ultimate and it makes me sad, if another MK was in there with it it would bring more popularity to the franchise and mk would be born a new and more like the origanal !!!

Please, less exclamation marks in your titles, don't use block capitals and use a bit more punctuation in your actual sentences. The whole post looks ugly otherwise. Just a little advice.
Personally, I would prefer it if MK stayed on the consoles. I don't particularly like the idea of not being able to play MK (we would likely never get the machines here) and there is a lot more you can do with the games on the consoles (like create save files, for instance). Plus I don't want Midway to start being cheap bastards and extorting money out of us again like they did with the old arcade games (Kano Transformations? You ass clowns!). Plus, and although I wish this wasn't the case, I think arcades are obsolete now that PS2's cost about £50 brand new.

Actually, it depends how you play it. Chances are I am gonna have my PS2, X-Box and Game Cube for a few years yet, and I won't get the next gen consoles until they have invariably fallen in price. That way, I get a good few years between console releases, everything (console, peripherals and games) is much cheaper, and I don't have to wait until decent games come out, because they have been out for a good few years already. So I'm behind the times, I'm not interested in being in on the fads, and I'm patient enough to do it.
I know you can't save on MKT, that's one of its faults. Alongside the cheap and stale gameplay, boring and uninspired graphics, and the sheer weight of characters who are only really different because of their special moves, but are otherwise exactly the same.
Oh, and for the record, Pong owns MKT.

We got an owl in the house! Anyway, people are still making them because there are some games that now seem to still draw in crowds, like those dance games. I bet that they make more than most other machines.
