Would Mortal Kombat work as an mmorpg? it has the back story for it, it could be set 5000 years before the first game(about Conquest time) ,it would be EarthRealm Vs Outworld

Classes

Earthrealm

Warrior
Assassin (start at Lin Kuei HQ)
Shaolin Monk (Start at temples) (warrior/Priest

Outworld

Warrior
Shadow (i.e undead riff)
Sorcerer (dark magic/ priest)

as for races theres human, undead, Shokan, Saurians, Cryomancer, Edenian's Mutants, etc....

the aspect of the game could be to help your faction win Mortal Kombat

So Instead of sieges there could be the mortal kombat tournament, who ever wins out of Outworld or Earthrealm gets some thing cool unlocked for the faction i.e a new area untill the next tournament,

it proberley will never happen, but i think with the back story Mortal Kombat has it could make a good mmorpg
