I guess it could work if it were done right. I think it should take place during the time of Scorpion's beginning's as a Shirai Ryu Ninja, training in Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, weapons, etc. Also, most importantly, there should be an emphasis on Ninpo, the spiritual and philosophical aspects.

Btw, I too liked the ambient feel of MKM: SZ.

You know, it is very unlikely, but a possibility they will make one about Scorpion. Scorpion has no real mythology to him, aside the fact that he has hell spawn powers. The reason they called MK Mythologies the name is because it dealed with Mythology. The Elemental Gods, Shinnok's Amulet, etc. Sub-Zero was just a character chosen by Quan Chi, because he knew the Lin Kuei where great warriors, and he thought that they could assist him in finding the Amulet because Quan Chi couldn't do it himself (because he had his reasons).

But, a adventure game about Scorpion has been the hot topic the last few years. And it looks like they will make one soon, because that is Boon's favorite character, and hey, I gurantee he will make one about Scorpion. I don't look for it to be called MK Mythologies: Scorpion. But, I look for it to be called Mortal Kombat: Ninja Spectre. That would be the most obvious name, since he has no real means in mythology, but it can talk about his quest for revenge, his clan, his training, and much other things.

Also, if you are looking for another appearance of a MK Mythology game, I guess the next one to be in a MK Mythology would either be Liu Kang, because he is the hero, and Kung Lao, because he is the next biggest hero. Both of them have mythology means, for instance, Liu Kang's battle between his spirit and body, and just the regular fighting of mythical things in the classic games. Kung Lao, on the other hand, has to free his ancestors, and he wants them to be honored. So you can have Kung Lao fight mythical things that are keeping his ancestors from being honored. I don't know, but its a start to something.

Actually it was called 'mythologies' because it dealt with the backstory and early adventure of Sub-Zero. It was the mythology of the character known as Sub-Zero....good try though.

I would really love to see an Ermac Mythologies game. You would start out as he was originally, probably human, and go through the story of him dying and then getting all of the souls, with a history of the souls within him that give him his power.

I do not know much about his past, but I love his charactor.

About the Black Dragon, Kira and Kobra are 'newcomers' to the clan, so you can't really say its 'early stages', unless you are talking about Kano and Kabal, then yeah that is the early stages.

Ya know it'll probably be like SM with Scropion chasing sub-zero and quan chi. Maybe his life as a Shiran-Ryu before then after. It would be intresiting. As long as the puzzles don't suck *coughs subzero mythoigys* or have horrible game play *coughs special forces* or have impossible bosses *coughs shao khan in SM*. Otherwise it kick ass
