Storyline

The earth has been saved so many times, however the last war left it completely desolated when the final battle was taken on Earth's grounds. The dragon king was defeated by the earth realm vagabond Shujinko, who was later executed by Lord Rayden, who is now an Elder God.

The Shiri Ryu, the old gang of Scorpion, was without a leader. All of the men battled one another in a ferocious hand to hand combat bout to see which one of them should be in charge of all the Shiri Ryu. The winner would turn out to be a man named Hogar. His first assignment was to find a good hideout. The search would lead them into a building with "Ultra Tech" labels all over it. When Hogar learned of the place, he sent the ninjas inside, killing anything that breathes. When the Shiri Ryu took over Ultra Tech, Hogar noticed that the attack had interrupted a mass production of large cybernetic organisms. The project was called "Fulgore." The Shiri Ryu was able to reenact the project and take the cyborgs as their own.
Hogar's second act as ruler of the Shiri Ryu would be to send one ninja to find the old Lin Kuei warrior Sub-Zero, and bring him to Ultra Tech. That ninja would be backed up by one Fulgore cyborg. On their way to find Sub-Zero, they were attacked by a seven foot tall alien who looks as if he was made totally out of ice. Fulgore was destroyed. The ninja would flee for his life. He found a hole to hide where the alien couldn't see him. It looked like a pit, but it was extremely cold. He would light a torch to find that he is standing next to the frozen corps of a woman. The body was still in tact, never decomposed due to the ice. The ninja would bring this frozen woman out of that hole and back to the Ultra Tech building. Hogar and his men warmed her up to melt the ice away to find out that the woman they found was Sub-Zero's greatest student, Frost. With Ultra Tech's technology, they revived the ice ninja and turned her into a cyborg along with the Fulgores, making her the only cyborg with the ability to freeze.
Through many Word of Liu Kang's return had reached Hogar's ears, and excited him. He figured since he can topple a whole clan by himself, he would surly be able to strip the title of a four- time Mortal Kombat champion. With Ultra Tech technology, Hogar enhanced himself with a powerful arsonal of abilities, making him a force to be reckoned with. With his new found power, he began a quest of taking over earth all together, with Liu Kang at the top of his list, making him the new threat to the planet.
