I believe what midway says striaght from the source rather than this guys word. There is no use in getting us all exciting when it we still don't know if it is 100 percent fact.

TRMK is a veteran MK community site and their sources are fairly reliable. I just hope that John Tobias will return to the MK team and take the story and the characters back where they belong. Tobias is the only true father of the MK storyline and characters.

It should be better than what I expect if it is going to take that long. KAK should definitely be complete, especially for players like me. It shouldn't have anything missing in it. And characters' costumes should be customizable too. In other words, if it's going to take that long, it should be good. Otherwise, I won't like it.

It's funny that you're already going to dislike the next game if your favorite features from Armageddon does not make a return. Hilarious.

Great news/rumours. Nice to know they're taking their time with it, if it's true. One thing i love about the MK team is how progressively they release information. Hope we'll get a teaser or something at the beginning of next year.



Of everything MK could offer... that's what you think is most important? customisable costumes and Kreate-A-Krapachter?

i personally hope for create a character to return myself because i really enjoy creativity in games. one of the main reasons people own the smackdown vs raw games is because of the levels of creativity in making the characters. player customization and creation is becoming a big thing in gaming now days and i will be a bit disappointed if it is not available in MK9. it won't play a major role in my purchase of the game but it is definatly a reason why i would buy it. i understand the previous cac system in armageddon was a bit lackluster and missing alot but it also has alot of potential.
as for the release info rumor...i am sure it is just an approximate date...just estimated to be the latest possible date of release. with the latest news of presentation to WB from Boon could possibly mean its in demo stages as we speak so it could potentially be released months before that estimated date. it all depends on the stages of development they are in but either way the game is in motion and that is good news.
EDIT: Just looked at the line-up for 2010's most anticipated games and upcoming releases planned...if MK9 gets released near the holidays than sales of the game may not fare too well again other titles. Perhaps an earlier release in maybe between mid summer to mid fall would be a good window. I don't know...we shall see.
