This would be the title that I want for the next MK game. It would be darker and the combat system will change dramatically.(It will no longer be the changing fighting styles.) And also like Ed Boon said in one of the interviews that the characters costumes will be torn off or get dirty. It could still have the air combat and parry system. Online play with downloadable contents.

One Being(Boss) Modes/Features: Story Battle: The selected character will have cut scenes before the battle. Like for example Scorpion and Sub Zero will have a little talk and then fight. Tag Team Kombat:Choose any 2 kombatants wether they are evil, neutral or good. Mortal Kombat Shaolin Warriors(MKSM2): Play as Kai or Liu Kang as they go on a quest to protect Earthrealm and the other realms and to stop Shinnok and his minions from invading.(This minigame has ko-op) Fighting Engine: It would be similar to the first classic 4 MK games(Mk1,2,3,4). All the classic fighters will have the same poses as they did before and a button combination during the fight will enable weapon battle. When the selected fighter hits the opponent senseless the costume will get dirty, wet or even torn. The fighters body may be covered with blood or brutal scratches. Even the hair may get all messed up. Customization/Kharacter Creation: Customize any MK warrior you wish to desire. Or create a fighter and give him or her a deadly advantage. Death Traps & Created Fatalities:Death traps return in every level as well as Create a Fatality. Online:Get connected to the Midway server and recieve Mortal Kombat updates and fight Live with other players across the globe! Freindships, Brutalities, Animalities: They all return but with more fatal styles for each fighter.
