Mortal Kombat: Drum Arena

Choose 7 instant characters and work your way through a one-player DJ mode, or play two player games and contests.
Play it how Donkey Kong is being played, but with favorite rock tunes from MK2 and MK3, taking place in the stage drum arena and few other stages from MK:Deception and newer stages. The instruments are a resemblance of weapons from MK4 and other dangerous-looking items. I never played Donkey Konga, but I'm trying to give an insight of my idea.
What do you think? I think it's a cool idea. I would be jamming to this game, ofcourse.
Eddy, are you viewing this? Take notes.

I don't mean by pure rock. MKII's music has a lot of mixtures, from Scary....bah don't feel like going through them categories now. Mix rock+scaryness.
Most drum beat rythyms, for instance, in the Armory and Pit II are styles of Rock (hard rock, whatever it fits). The Armory also has occaisonal screaming samples in the bgm, so I think it can be regarded as a rock beat.
You do think that's a bad idea? It'd be fun, it'll be a Friendship kind of game with a twist of fatality activites, rated M. In some bonuses, you can use a spiked xylophone stick to bash opponents head off.
The game should release on Game Cube and PS2, with four small bongos (enough to play the famous MK2 jungle-like beat that play at the Kontinue screen).
In the one-player mode, you have to jump your way on top of the MK2 mountain and collect musical instruments (drum sticks and guitars), using Sub-Zero. Once you pick up an instrument, you have 10 seconds to play a theme that shows up on your screen. You gain heatlh and power judged on your score.
Once you make it on top of the mountain, you and a rival are behind turntables. The gameplay is based on arrows and directions you have to follow to get a rythym on track. The person who gets the best score survives and the loser gets struck by lightning.
Round 2, the mountains get more rough and so fort. Round 9 is a semi-boss match, you're competing against Goro. He's got 4 turntables, you have 2, obviously.
The final match is Shao Kahn and Sindel.
If you fall off the mountain, you'll be falling into the Pit II ground. Then you start over from the begin of the level.
Sorry if it sounds confusing, but I think this is a great idea.

Someone should really overlook this idea. I think it'd be a good game for a change, too much fighting and murdering opponents, one-on-one for nearly 15 years. Why not have a friendship kind of Kombat for once? Look at Capcom's Street Fighter. During the fighting generation, Capcom started making games like Puzzle Fighter to rejoice competitors, to bring in a smile to less violence in the looks.
I have Puzzle Fighter but never played it, but appearantly, it looks more friendly than dangerous. Puzzle kombat is fun and all, but to have a full game mainly focusing on this idea is what's wonderful. This is what I would like to see the team get into, something that players can play together a game all about tapping the buttons to the right time through a fun adventure like Donkey Konga. Maybe not too friendly, but add a twist that reminds you of Mortal Kombat. Earn weapons to bash opponent in the head when he loses, etc.

a) not sure which word you were aiming for, but I don't think it was "overlook." ;)
b) there's already an unrelated Drum Arena (Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance) out there. :P

a) I'm trying to say the team should have an overlook at this idea. I think review would've sound better, or overview.
b) Drum Arena= Musical beat game. I know, I took the idea from the drum arena stage. Even more inspired by the lonely guy in the background drumming to the actual beat.
