Kintaro!

Rain should be more weather oriented. he should have a storm cloud hovering over him during the entire fight. a good idea for a special move would be 'puddle'. stay in one place for at least 3 seconds and the ground wil become wet with rainwater. the longer you stay, the slippier the puddle. cetain characters would have certain stat bonuses, including how vulnerable they are to this maneuver and how easily they can recover. Rain shouldn't come back as a mask wearing ninja and his weapon sould be a spear called "weather vane".

revamped moves:
lightning- the same, only it comes out of Rain's cloud

super kick- Rain roundhouses the opponent, and forces them further away with hurricane winds. but in midair, lightning strikes them and they dissapear. they reappear in a seperate bolt behind him

teleport- Rain strikes himself with lightning, having the same affect as the super kick

control orb- wind forces the opponent into Rain's cloud and you can control where they fly. you could slam them against the ground, start a juggle combo, or perform other special moves. lasts 4 seconds

new moves:
hale- Rain's cloud drops hail on the opponent. lasts 3 seconds and can be self damaging if you get too close to the opponent

fly- hurricane winds push Rain into the air. flight moves and allows 'aerial kombat'

puddle- see above

styles:
Knight- the fighting style of Edenian guards. Shao Kahn requsted to train his soldiers in this because of its effectiveness in battle. he first discovered this in the battle where Rain's father was killed

shogun- a strong and balanced style used by shogun generals of midievel Japan

weather vane- a long spear forged by Rain himself. charged with electricity, it produces bonus shock damage

or, if you don't like the spear, he could have a big claymore sword

Sheeva Goro Kintar & Motaro in one game the big boys and gal from the old days

Bo' Rai Cho, Dairou, Hotaru, Havik are now essentials.

The good guiys should come back a little revamped like Sonya, Jax, Kung
Lao... drop out Liu Kang. bring back Frost, Drahmin and Nitara.

No past bosses. MUST HAVE Shang Tsung and Quan Chi!

More new characters that should stabilise the storyline.
