I think the old mortal kombat is the best. i cant believe they are destroying most of the characters now im mad!furious

Well, they will keep Sub-Zero and Scorpion, because Boon said that he can't imagine a Mortal Kombat game without those guys. Besides, 10-15 characters from the previous MK games will stay(MK1-MKA)

I wouldn't count on 10-15. Maybe 1-5, but that's probably it, if they are indeed trying to start anew.

I think they really need to clean things up.

One thing that's been nagging me, though. They had about 30 characters (I think that may be an overestimate) in Deception...why couldn't they just go from there? Did we really need Armageddon? Most characters like Rain, Reiko, Sheeva, etc. were considered dead anyway.

I think that they should return to maybe 15-20 characters that they can work a solid story around and that would have unique personalities.
