Midway (NRS) said it planned on making more game similiar to Sub-Zero's game but at the time, a lot of people never liked it so they stopped. But what do you think if NRS renewed the series with games like Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Scorpion or MKM: Liu Kang? I would like, how about you guys and what game would you like to be first?

I would love for there to be a new mythologies game. But I kind of don't want it to focus any of the main characters. Maybe set it in the past and you could play as the Great Kung Lao or something along those lines.

I always wanted to know more about the Great Lung Lao also. But other character I would want would be Smoke and would focus on the Lin Kueis past and their Cyber ninjas operation.

Adventure games? With a better type of gameplay than SM used to have and not always introducing the same heroes or vilains it could be fun. I don't want another Liu and Kung Lao or a Sub Zero and Scorpion adventure yet.

Someone already posted a topic suggesting an adventure game in which you would play as vilains, i.e Quan Chi and Shinnok. That could be cool. A game like Mythologies? The Super Mario type of platform games is not where their skills reside imo.

If we're going to bring in more obscure characters then how about an adventure game featuring Havik and Hotaru. Set them in the same levels however depending on your character choice, the aim could be either to preserve and enforce order (Hotaru), or go absolutely mental and create as much carnage as possible (Havik). It could have diverging storylines, similar to Resident Evil 2. And also multiple endings depending on how much order/chaos you can create.
I like the idea of a story that can branch off in multiple directions as all 3 MK adventure games to date have suffered from the same issue. They are just too linear and have almost no replay value.
What do you guys think?

@Shaokahn67

I really like your idea and your points to defend them mentioning things such as replay value. Nice one.

I think it would be cool if they made an adventure game focusing on the events of the first Mortal Kombat and you can choose between Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Liu Kang, Sonya, Kano and Johnny Cage ; They should each have there own storyline and perhaps three endings and some endgame content, as well as different costumes.

A Mortal Kombat Mythologies Game as seen through the eyes of the first seven warriors. That sounds interesting & promising. Tweet NRS and Mr. Boon about that ASAP. It would be a great way to revive the series.
