I totally forgot MKDA had a proper band's tune on the game.
I wouldn't be against doing it again.
It would be a good way to advertise the game on music stations if it had clips from the game in it.

I'm not a big heavy metal fan but I would assume it would be a metal track. Can't imagine Scorpion Vs Sub with Gaga playing lol.

I tend to forget Adema's Immortal too. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of a title track along those lines, but no way would I want the whole of the game to be oriented to a specific style of music, for two reasons:

1) That results in a love-it-or-hate-it situation along the lines of the metal-laden Guilty Gear series or SFIII: Third Strike's drum & bass/hip hop slant. I enjoy those, but they've got their detractors. Best to alienate as few people as possible.

2) More importantly, It wouldn't feel right without Forden & his team working their magic - Dan's tunes are always great, regardless of the quality of the game. I even listen to the MK soundtracks while I travel.

An actual band doing the song? No thank you. That takes away from things, I think.

Now, an actual musical SCORE. I could get into that,

I like Forden's music as much as the next MK fan, but I wouldn't mind a soundtrack like Immortal for commercial purposes for then anything. Just to hype the game a bit more. For the game ITSELF, there's no question to who's going to be in charge of the MK soundtracks.
