I think to make mk back to a tournment type of game I think the game should be more based on hand to hand kombat like it use to. The game could keep the realistic feel so there4 every character that has certain type of weapons should only be equipped with a certain amount 4 that match, not round. That way u have to use it wisely, also because it effects the opponents health if the special connects.

An example of this would be NIGHTWOLF would only be equipped with 3 arrows on his back or waist, if he decides to use one of them on kitana it could hit her in the face or somewere were she would bleed more, maybe her neck. If you tried to aim at the opponents heart or brain the ELDER GODS in the sky would light up like thunder and cancel the move so that the char cant die so fast by cheap tatics. But as far as aiming the game allows you to freely aim in any direction u choose with ur special or weapon.

But as usual because this would be more of a hand to hand fightin game there would be MAJOR consequences 4 pulling out weapons or using and abusing specials like ppl did in mk vs dc which made it feel more like a cat and mouse game instead of hand to hand/ face to face fightin.
