The title will be MK New Generation.

Storyline: It will be about a story that happens 500 years after the events of MKA.

That's all I can guess about the storyline, since Boon said it will be a completely new story, so I cannot make assumption on what comes next.

i think the new mk should continue the story, instead of leapig to something new.
MK8 should be about Shinnok and raiden make a new tournament against shao kahn to merge outworld to earthrealm, something like that.
Suddenly the tables have turned, the former good guys are now bad guys.
Reiko , Havik , Kabal and Motaro (this time with four legs and oversized) HAVE to come back; these characters are the bddest mofus and their stories have so much potential, they could make a whole game out of them!

I'd like it if it were called MK: "Resurrection" because since most things in Armageddon died, it would be cool if those things came back to life, especially the classic characters.

Or these could be the title for MK9 since MK8 will most likely have mostly all-new characters and stuff.

I'd rather have a whole new line with all new characters. For that, we'd need a new/modified title. I hope the tournament comes back to being the main theme, so I would call it

followed by

Mortal Kombat Tournament 2

or maybe

Mortal Kombat Championship

These aren't very catchy, but I hope they alter the name as opposed to adding another cliche subtitle.
