I didn't like the animalities, but those ideas are good.

Animalities in the past wasn't very good b/c of lack of detail and thought, but the animality idea itself has potental.

I've no interest in seeing the gimmick fatalities come back. Animalities, Brutalities, Babalities.....

If a character turns into an animal for their fatality, let that be their fatality. They shouldn't force every single character to have a specific finisher where they morph into some animal.

hari kiris are great too. They should have longer move methods though so they person who one the fight has a better chance at doing his.

and...OK find dont call them Animalities but I think MK characters turning into an animal is kickass.

Has anyone seen the hacked sub-zero polar bear animality in MK2...that started from fans....so where are you guys at. This make this animality thing happen for mk8.

I'd love to see Animalities in MK8.

Instead of having the morphing animation like it was in MK3, they should make it more like the second MK movie, where you actually see them changing, with their clothes ripping and stuff. That would be pretty wicked.

Like XD84 said, if one character was to transform into an animal in their fatality, let it be their fatality.

Well, if you really like MK3, then you will agree. But most people wont want it back, because they just want the next gen to look cool, and they might think that animals killing people is "out of style" and lame. I think they should bring it back

MK3 is my least favorite MK game but I still like the concept of Animalities.

Animalities actually started in MK2. Liu Kang turned into a Dragon, and then rumors started about sub-zero turning into a polar bear, and then being started breaking into arcade rooms and hacking into the arcade rom and adding sub-zeros polar bear. this is what boosted animalities. And I think its time we get some real animalities damnit.

xia and whoever else that thinks animalities should just be fatalities.....if you watched the movies...animalities are a part of the story...anihilation wasnt the best of movies but it was still mk....like it or not...for hardcore fans, animalities will have a place in mk....as far as freindships and babalities go...i dont care but mainly animalities and brutalities should have a place in the next gen games.

Only some character should get animalities, like Liu-Kang's dragon. How about Shinnok when he turned into that huge creature in MKMSZ?

The movies are non-canon and everything that was introduced in Annihilation was a bad idea...including incorporating "Animalities" into the storyline...and are best left forgotten.

I wouldn't mind the return of animality like fatalities but they shouldn't apply to all characters. Let some characters have fitting animalities but don't over do it and no 'joke' animalites. No penguins, no rabid kittens/rabbits, no electric eels, no monkeys, etc...

Not only is this Post for Fun but also for the chance that the Midway MK-Team will see this post and possible consider it. The MK-Team has used fans ideas before and they have came out quit well. Even if thay dont do Animalities even though I hope they will, they could still use a few of these animal morphs for fatalitys, like MK2 and MK4 Liu Kang's Dragon Fatality and MK4 Scorpion's Scorpion Fatality.

Animal Morphs is the way of the future for the next generation console Mortal Kombat, perfect way to show of the graphics.


Since I cant keep editing my begining post I will just keep updating the full roster list of animal morphs allowing us to fill them all and come up with the best ideas possible for that character. So even if there is an animal listed next to the character it can still be changed if a NEW idea that is better is posted.

So bring them on, only serious ideas please.

Nitara-Turns into a giant bat lifts the opponent up by the neck flys up really high and drops the opponent.The opponents flesh is then on the floor in a pool of blood.


Nightwolf-turns into a wolf knocks the opponent down with a charging tackle.Bites their leg and then ripps it of bites of the other leg the opponent then crawls back the wolf then pounces on the body chewing its face off.
