MK4 Premier Tower

So, the premier tower is up for Mortal Kombat 4... don't get your hopes up though, Tanya didn't make it in time. However, you have the following 10:

1. Scorpion
2. Sub-Zero
3. Johnny Cage
4. Liu Kang
5. Sonya Blade
6. Raiden
7. Jax.
8. Shinnok
9. Reptile
10. Quan Chi.

As for the secret fight, as usual, I kept doing brutalities all the way through the seventh fight, and then I fought...

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Goro. I predicted this would be the case since Noob Saibot and Meat aren't in the game, but thought it was reaching since he was only a hidden fighter in the console versions.


Just a shame they couldn't squeeze Tanya in, but it's a nice round 10 fighters, and having Shinnok and Quan Chi was refreshing after the rehashed-feeling MK3 tower (since there were no introduced-in-MK3 characters to use).

Now, since this is the last of the arcade themed towers, the question remains: Will there be console towers for Deadly Alliance and Deception? Here's my prediction for DA:

1. Kano
2. Raiden
3. Johnny Cage
4. Scorpion
5. Sub-Zero
6. Sonya Blade
7. Jax
8. Kitana
9. Kung Lao
10. Quan Chi
11. Kenshi

Although 11 is rather lopsided, but who knows? Plus, I can't imagine any secret fights... lord knows they won't actually make that model of Frost an NPC, but she wasn't hidden in DA, so it wouldn't make any sense. Eh, guess we'll see in two weeks after Tanya's tower.

Good lord, an MK9 Tower could have 15 fighters. I would assume Quan Chi was be the Secret fighter since he was unlockable.

Same thing happened to me. Can anyone confirm that it's only the Brutality on fight 7 or are there more requirements?

Yup, that's what happened with me. Brutality in Rnd 7. But in the past the assassin fights have had no requirement per se. Maybe just random?

I fought Tanya in the MK4 tower. I also fought against Goro I performed brutalities against all opponents and got a couple of flawless victories here and there.

Okay so after some research and playing around I can confirm you DO NOT have to perform any brutalities to get to the secret fight.

The requirements are

- Finish every fight with a Fatality, Brutality OR Faction Kill
- Flawless Victory on at least one round
- After you complete Fight 7 with a finishing move, Goro should appear.

I should also add that I didn't lose a single round, so that may also be a requirement.

Idk what I did to get him, but I know I did not lose a single round, and used finishers in each battle and got to fight Goro.

tried it twice can't pass round 6 in first try, can't pass round 7 in second try it be nice to beat it i like how they won't let you choose the difficulty especially for those who aren't amazing at playing against cpu
