well quan chi probably won't be able to team with shang since he is dead too so ther wouldn't be a deadly alliance.But quan chi will still troll the shit out of people lol hopefully he will get his ass handed to him by scorpion in the next one since,after all I did say MK4-MKD.YEA!

im kinda hoping mk10 just focuses on mk4, since its gonna be so changed up.

It'll focus on MK4 cuz there's no Deadly Alliance(due to Shang Tsung being dead and all) and might just skip to Deception(Noob's a Wraith, so i'm not worrying about him being dead. Smoke's going to be revived, but there's not going to be a Noob-Smoke team, that sucks cuz Noob-Smoke had a big ass role in Deception as a Sub-Boss and Secondary Antagonists(behind Onaga).)

I don't think MK10 is even going to focus on MK4 "per say" .... I think its going to have elements of MK4 with characters like Shinnok, Reiko and Tanya, but I don't think its going to to be a direct translation of 4. No Jared, probably no Kai, and hopefully a ton of new characters.

The idea behind MK9 was to reboot the franchise, and I don't think its NRS's intention to use it as a means to remake every game before it in 2D.

I think what I'd like for new characters is.... a son of Liu Kang & Kitana that travels from the future to the past. He came to save his family & their comrades from Shinnok's fury and for his birth to be kept intact for a new generation of heroes to come once Onaga comes in the next game.

Really I don't care about new characters unless they are really cool and I sure as hell know I don't want hsu hao and movado and the rest of those dumbass characters who never had a chance in it.Really I would want scorpion in a good costume not an updated deception look that was his worst look to me I also think it would be lousy as shit if onaga was the boss but I think we will have shinnok .and I really hope they keep the game in 2D 3D really slowed me down.

it could be that Sub-Zero's soul is saved and becomes human again, but that the body of Cyber Sub-zero is reprgrammed regardles... though I don't think we'll see such a tag team again though... kind of useless with this tag team system...

1st: Future MK games

2nd: Just because this one rebooted 1-3, does not mean the next has to be the same fucking thing as last time, just with some changes, that would defeat the purpose of the reboot. So no MK4-D, that would be stupid.

While it is fair to say maybe the next MK will be a little more like MK4, what with Shinnok and Quan Chi, I'm sure it will be somewhat of a retelling of MK4, but don't hold your breath for MKDA-A, cause that's whay they are rebooting it in the first place.

Obviously a reboot to the franchise opens tons of doors for new things NRS can do.

One thing I thought would be fun to see is having Liu Kang be the final boss. I know he died in story mode but since when doesn't MK revive players? Maybe Raiden gets the Elder Gods to revive him but when they do, they give him too much power. At first he'll ally with Raiden and defend Earth from Shinnok and co. for a while. After some time, he gets insane with power and he turns dark (much like dark Raiden in the original story line).

I love fighting against Shao Khan and looking forward to seeing what NRS does with Shinnok the next game. Just saying, while they are trying new things, I think fighting against the "Elder God" Liu Kang would be pretty sweet.
