MK10 Debut At 2011 Comic-Con??

You guys think anything at all will come out about it? Weather its someone giving a little info in an interview, screenshots, hints or teasers, etc. Im not holding my breath, I doubt NRS would pack something in now, with the hype for the game still being fairly active with the steady stream of dlc. But I think now would be a perfect time to swing that momentum to the future of the franchise.

I do remember Boon saying that they (NRS) wanted to branch out and not have MK be the only game for them. Think anything will ever come of that?

I think too soon and too much. Too soon, MK9 just have been release about three months ago, and while I completed it within days and want more, there must be some more time digest it, especially with new contents still coming out for it. Also, too soon, for NRS to really release something worthwhile for MK10 yet. Too much, Comic Con already having the 4th DLC and the last part of the MK Legacy series. Too much can harm the hype of the other.

I would think maybe Comic-Con 2012. Nothing sooner than Comic-Con in New York this fall. Even that is way to early. DLC will get packed in first so I am gonna stick with 2012.

Jeez, ready to throw this current game under the buss so soon?

I hope it's like 3 years before they even start drafting ideas for the next one. I want this game to get all prettied up and have the life span oh lets say Street Fighter 2 (well not that long) but long enough for it to really circulate and for people to really have sunk their claws into it. Let them keep patching it, add more DLC to it, fix up the online.

Too much went into this game just to sweep it aside already.

Who said the next game is going to be MK10 ? The team is working on 2 games right now by dividing the studio into 2 and shifting the attention to one of em later.

Could be Fire and Ice and it could a new IP. Still , it is too early for MK10 and that's WB's and NRS' job to surprise us with the next project.

I actually agree 200% with this, I hope there is a steady stream of dlc characters to keep it going, but I just cant help but speculate lol. I know its early. What other games are they working on I wonder. Would they ever come with a complete, new game, separate from MK all together?

MK10? Nah.

Any other Mortal Kombat project? Unlikely.

DC Universe: Brawl on Infinite Earths? Maybe, maybe.
