MK Stealth/Shooter Game

I can't recall what interview it was but Ed Boon said that if he ever did do another genre of a game he would want to make a stealth shooter game. Now I don't think that the MK Team should work on this but maybe the team or some of the people that made Psi-Ops (never played it but I assumed it was a shooter) could work on it since they work for Midway. Obviously Boon and Vogel should some input and also work on the story. And Obviously we don't want to see Lui Kang and Kung Lao with guns but it could be Sonya and Jax or from the other side of the spectrum a New Red Dragon assasin or Kano, Kabal or another Black Dragon member. I would love to see a game like this. Thoughts?

you make a good point with Kung Lao or Liu Kang not having guns but most of the others do.

I want a stealth MK game starring Scorpion, and it should be a mix of Tenchu and Ninja Gaiden.

NO GUNS BELONG IN MORTAL KOMBAT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, when MK first started it was a Kung Fu Mythology type game, and THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE! For crying out loud!

THE ONLY PEOPLE IN MK THAT SHOULD HAVE GUNS ARE THE SPECIAL FORCES PEOPLE AND STRYKER!

A stealth game on the other hand involving the ninjas and Lin Kuei warriors of MK, would be okay with the ninja/mythology/kung fu ways of stealth, but please no GUNS! It was bad enough that Jax had a machine gun in Arcade mode in Deadly Alliance, and the Special Forces game, please do not get me started on that failure you call a game!

MK BELONGS IN A MYTHOLOGY/KUNG FU GENRE, AND BESIDES MYTHOLOGY AND KUNG FU POWER AND THE POWERS SOME OF THESE CHARACTERS HAVE RULE OVER GUNS WITH AN IRON FIST, THAT POWER IS EVERLASTING!

I think a stealth game with control structure similar to Prince Of Persia would be cool. It could involve invading buildings and assasinating leaders and such. Different characters could play completely differently, such as ninja-inspired characters running on walls, and special forces characters going in rambo or using MGS style stealth tactics.
