Hell yeah! I'm psyched for it, anything MK i'm sold on but this is nostalgic for a lot off people, I'm even more so excited because I never got to play these games (I'm 17 lol!) And now I get to. Add me on PSN if you wanna play sometime :).

We should be hearing some news about this soon as August is fast approaching and the 4 DLC characters are almost all out.

I really want the klassic fight stick but I'll have to import from the States; I didn't need that money anyway.

Well, the Arcade Kollection was present at the event at the San Diego Comic Con so we know it hasn't been forgotten.

There was video of people playing it on gamespot's coverage of the MK tournament after the Freddy reveal. There wasn't anything too interesting like a release date but the game select screen had you scrolling through the 3 arcade cabinet which was a nice touch.

I wonder if we'll get any more news about the kollection at the SDCC now that the DLC business is concluded.

I've been waiting for this as well...I've lost all my old systems through the years so it's been quite some time since I've gotten down on old school MK...I'm much better at the old ones anyway lol..... I certainly hope a release date is SOON...i know they said late Summer so shouldn't bee much longer now

Is this an HD remix like what was rumored or just a simple repackaging of the old games?

I'm excited, but it's starting to wane, since they didn't give a release date outside of "SUMMER 2011!"

It's summer. Where the hell is it!? I'm starting to lose interest, just like 3rd Strike Online Edition.

But when they do release the Arcade Kollection, I do hope they try to keep it as authentic as possible. I loved the old MK games :D

It's just a repackaging of the old games. Graphics may be touched up a little, but NO HD yet. Expect MK:HDK to be released next year.

I'm excited as heck for the PS3/XBLA release but man when are we going to get a decent/modern port of MK 4? MK 1-3 plus UMK3 have all seen various releases on 'Special Edition' MK games (Deception: Premium Edition, Shaolin Monks unlockable, and Armageddon: Kollector's Edition) plus releases in the various Midway Arcade Treasure titles as well as a PSN version of MK 2 and a XBLA version of UMK3.

But the last time we've seen MK 4 was on the Dreamcast back in 1999. How can this be a complete MK Arcade Kollection without MK 4 (not to mention the standard MK 3)?

I keep hoping that after MK Arcade Kollection gets released NRS will announce MK Gold (or at the very least an arcade-perfect MK 4) for the PS3 and 360.

Honestly I am more pissed... Don't get me wrong...its cool we are getting a collection but I have these games already... The purchase I WAS excited about was the HD Collection they were working on that got scrapped...That I would have bought..but this ...not interested.. I have MK 2 on the ps3...MK 3 meh..and MK 1 i have already on meh arcade...so really...not a big fan..still hoping someone will pick up the HD collection

They could've said that to get more time on it, release these games this year to keep the money flowing and release a good, well produced HD game next year.

MK Arcade Collection is the end result of the difficulty-fraught MKHD project. They scrapped all the re-filmed actor segments, and we're just getting straight ports.

I'm only 13 and ever since MK vs DCU came out I have loved the games. And yes I am excited to see tons of the original gore that parents complained about (and they still do complain about it).

I knew *that*- in two of the three games

I was just hoping beyond hope they would include Noob (playable) and Rain
a'la the console version of UMK3.

But I suppose they weren't exactly balanced,
and they may not want to bother with trying to fix that.

(oh, and Rain will at least make a cameo appearance in the intro for UMK3 )

ok...i think i had read somewhere that it was coming out on PC?? August 30th... anyone know anything else about this? would that also mean 360 and Ps3 on the 30th as well? lol....i NEED ANSWERS!!!!
