Okay, I may be reaching a bit here but whatever. Okay, so after the fight with Kung Lao which ends at the 42:50 mark, Derek reaches for his mug and drinks it with the photo of Mileena staring right at us. I based this whole theory off how he positions the mug to us while drinking and looking at those besides him. I don't know, tell me what you guys think?

Now why did you bring up Li Mei, of all people? NRS can fit those two characters in one game if they wanted to. Anyway I'm not sure if this is enough proof because it was just a mug and it could have had anyone on it.

Maybe if it showed a new Mileena with an updated costume THEN I'd count that as evidence.

What do you mean by this? If you are referring to their colours, you're wrong. Li Mei wears purple while Mileena is dark pink/magenta.

Li Mei and Sindel have purple, but they were both in MKD attaining the same colour, purple. Of these two, I'd want Li Mei in MKX.

Well.... They did have an Ermac statue literally staring at us. So it wouldn't be crazy to assume that Mileena mug was there for a reason. Then again, there's no way Mileena isn't in this game.

So if it was a tease it was wholly unnecessary.

Not to be a buzzkill, but that's probably just a mug they have lying around the office. Mileena was really heavily used in publicizing MK9.

There is a Ermac statue, and he was revealed. And suddenly before the trailer goes on a mug with Mileena motif? Not a coincidence, at all.

There's about time the Mileena reveal. Not just for her fans, most MK community see with positive eyes her come back. She is pretty iconic and an extremely recognisable face, the female lead alongside Kitana. Besides, she actually has to do something in the story, not like some characters already revealed, I'm sorry for the haters. pd: want that mug

Derek's favourite character is Mileena so I would think that is why.

I do not think it is a hint at all. Derek has not made any hints before. If you want hints go to Ed Boon.

People are allowed to dislike a character. I will point out that they aren't the ones who think a guy drinking from a mug during a stream means a character is being hinted at for inclusion.

Oh boy, I can't wait for that "I <3 NY" character that guy in the cafeteria was hinting at with his mug at work!

Mileena will indeed be the first of 4 characters to be revealed this month. I also hope Shinnok is in this bunch or at least come March's character reveals.
