It would kind of bring back the MK3 through MKGold feel where you could run at an opponent.

Maybe that will revitalize the series?

Nah. I would rather go with a good, forward dash with a double tap forward (the second forward being a hard tap).

Awful idea. A fighting game should never have to be artificially "sped up".

I didn't think run was that bad, but it would only work in a 2D game, like Rain's Mind Control Orb move.
