Many people think that the fighting engine in this game sucks, but what would you do to make it better?

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't like the fighting engine in this game either. But I'm just curious of what it is exactly that you people want them to do to make it a new fighting system, without it being too much like Tekken of DOA. Basically, I'm saying, what would you want it to be that would make it it's own original fighting system?

There are enough threads already that cover this.

A wake up games needs to be added.

A decent counter and reversal system needs to be added.

Combo breakers aren't highly necessary, more of a novelty perhaps if the above are in.

We need throw escapes.

MK doesn't need to be like Tekken or whatever else to have these. It should have these things.

The things that are in MKD that should never have been and that need to go are auto recovery, universal tracking, OTG's, the many infinites.

Finally, the game needs to be fully tested for glitches and the rest. We don't want more attacks connecting when they don't even touch you like some of the stuff on MKD.

The more in tune with the whole gameplay aspect will probably add more to all of this.
