Well looking at the boards, it seems like pretty much everyone has taken a negative view of MKA. Now I'm not saying everyone has, because I must admit I even like Online mode. Who here doesnt have fun beating another online opponent with Fujin of Sektor??

But besides the quick thrills that we all get from playing MKA, I was just wondering is anyone else looking forward to the Action titles more than the fighting??

Are you glad were going to get an Action/Adventure title in 2007 rather than fighting?? Do you look forward to understanding the storyline of MK, rather than enjoying a fighting MK game??

Or are you an MK fan who will always look forward to a fighting MK game no matter what??

Post youre thoughts here...

NOOOO!!! I dont want MK to turn into an adventure game. Its okay if they do it once in a while like mytholigies and shaolin monks. They should just stick to fighting. They should just make a new fighting engine and improve areas which they are weak in for the future.

To be honest, MK expanding into other genres is a good idea but should also keep to its fighter roots. There is no reason why MK should be limited to just being a fighter, esp since it has such potential to be so much more. And to be honest, more than one or two fighters per console generations makes the game series seem stale. Throw in an action/adventure (or RPG) in there keeps the MK name out there is a nice change.

I though MKSM was pretty fun, but they seem to have a reocurring habit of butchering the story. wink If they get their act together on both the adventure and fighting parts, I would't mind another type of MKSM style game.

I would kinda have to agree. MKMS and MKSF kept the N64 alive pretty good for some people. I don't see why it shouldnt happen for PS3/x-box 360.

I'm not saying that MKMS or MKSF were good games, but I'm saying I really agree with what you are trying to say...

the main game will be combat mode(just like al mk games) and will be a conquest mode longer than Armageddon's one.
Midway can do it.
