So first what we do know ...

1. Brutalities are activated in the Winning round as a last hit
2. Brutalities thus far are modified special moves or throws
3. There are specific requirements that need to be met to perform them.

My speculation is that once the requirements are met, only need to perform the special move or throw + the meter burn button.

During the stream the brutalities were coming out like standard specials/throws, and there did not appear to be any special inputs before the moves came out.

The other possibility is that some brutalities will be activated by performing a specific combo ala classic brutalities, however if requirements are met, and the combo defeats the opponent, the brutality will come out.

I'm guessing you can't block in the winning round, I wasn't paying attention to the game play that much in the stream. But maybe the brutality is triggered when you hit the run button and run up to your opponent before you input a string of combos. Who knows?

God I love the brutalities so much. It is a lot better than that create a fatality crap from armagedden.

What's there to speculate?

There's hundreds of possibilities on how these Brutalities might work that speculating would be tiring.

shit like

Don't block on X round.
Only get hit X number of times
Do X number of jumps
Can only do X number of specials
Teabag X number of times
Run X number of times
Combo X number of times
Throw X number of times

There's no telling.

However, whether or not a requirement needs to happen before, but we were told Kung Lao needs to mash certain buttons during his. What buttons? We don't know.
